@dtkung @maanow Oh my, thank you for writing this. I have been on a similar journey, trying to learn over time how to speak truth but also drop fewer unwanted “mathy f-bombs” in the wrong places. Although I think I dropped one just yesterday. Working on it 🙃

Looking for a alternative to now-dead Shapeways for 3D printing on demand with Shopify and/or Etsy integration, anyone have suggestions? In related news my stores are closed until further notice 😭

The #IllustratingMath seminar meets again this week, 10 May 2024, at 12PM EST. This month's will be different than most. We hold the time and space to celebrate the life and work of Roger Antonsen. We'll have talks by his collaborators and catch a glimpse of his extensive work.

I like it when I start using my own notes/blog posts/tutorials as a reference, because it's a good sign that I took both A. good notes and B. the necessary notes

@mathgrrl I still haven’t gotten around to figuring out these (x.com/HypercubicPeg/…)😊…maybe some year.
R. Sunder-Raj@HypercubicPeg

@mathgrrl @ravelry You're making me wish I had the time to play with these to see what can be done (and what tools can be made) with them..they looked promising for making #mathart but have been waiting patiently for me for a couple of years...not nearly as long as the lathe or jig borer though :)

The result. @mathgrrl, your method works well for this. I think the pink tube was about 24 feet long before most of it was stuffed. The knit magic was very particular with which thicknesses and types of yarns would work without dropping too many stitches.
