my dr frequently refuses to send the scrip in for my meds before the day-of. so they're nearly never filled before noon and I have to spend the day chasing their office and my pharmacy down to make sure it gets done 😭

@mirrinigma aargh i have a similar thing! there’s an app to order prescriptions, but i can’t order one of my meds without a doctor signing it off, so i call them every month instead, then they insist i order some items from them and others from the pharmacy, it’s like stop. changing. things.

i’m not gonna lie, when it takes three phone calls to get a repeat prescription because my doctor “forgot” to issue it, then “forgot” again after being reminded, i’m walking in presuming i’m the smartest person in the room

I'm not gonna lie, it is frustrating when you ask a patient what's wrong and they just give you a diagnosis. Like "I have a chest infection". OK, you're probably right but I need to know your symptoms to see if I agree with that diagnosis. I can't just take your word for it.

PSA: A “[medical] anxiety” diagnosis is not one you are meant to be able to contest. To do so is considered further evidence of your hysteria, thus confirming the diagnosis. The “treatment” is to block your access to medical care. The abuse is designed to follow you forever.
