Did you know that Australia is sitting on 43 years of fuel security in those orange basins on the map? 17.5 billion barrels of recoverable oil confirmed in the 2013 EIA report (US Energy Information Administration). We're importing 90% of our fuel while this goldmine sits locked away thanks to decades of political betrayal by impotent Liberal and Labor governments. Mining our own fuel will deliver similar or slightly cheaper(!) pump prices than what we're used to throughout 2025 It would take 8–15+ years but hey, that's exactly why we should've started yesterday. Will the current fuel crisis finally wake us up to ditch all the green virtue signaling, if only for our own survival? As a huge Tesla fan (and ex-employee) who loves the idea of electrifying everything, I say we need to: 🇦🇺⛽️ DRILL BABY DRILL ⛽️🇦🇺

@offtap93 They definitely need to play through the middle but everything was slow and lethargic today. The defence on the edges was diabolical. With Hiroti and Teig now fit they need to start on the right edge (or Burns switch from left to right & Teig on left). The last try summed it up

Really poor, flat 1st half..they look so fatigued. Any time we get some good field position we’ve dropped the ball or had a poor kick. Outside of one good piece of work from Stonestreet to slalom through poor defence it’s been awful. The being ripped to shreds on our right edge

I had a meeting today in the North of Sydney and I drove past a servo that had completely ran out of petrol and diesel. The price board was blacked out and the plastic signs were on the pump telling folks. A strange sight in the middle of a major city.

I have it on good authority that oil tankers bound for Australia are being diverted at Singapore. Unless there is a dramatic change.. there will be major oil shortages. Suburban life in Australia could get very difficult very quickly.
