My new startup is a social media bullshit detector. It scans people's feeds using grep (not AI) to find instances where the user positively about Web3, NFTs, AR, VR, the Metaverse, Delve, FTX, Theranos, and Nicola to generate a "BS score."

Anyone still using ROS 1? Would love to talk how Pixi & @RoboStack can help you upgrade your base distribution while still supporting good old ROS Noetic.

@DavesRoboShack @prefix_dev Not really, its just more user friendly for users that are not comfortable with the terminal. It does allow for potentionally additional configuration in the wizard.

@prefix_dev Would there be any benefits of using a GUI? Is it easier to see dependencies and select the version of a package? Or to see the source of a package, like conda-forge vs pip?

Would you like a graphical installer for Pixi GUI? We're considering to add it to the MSI installer on Windows. Let us know – especially if you are distributing Pixi in-house.

Everyone loves shell completions, right? With carapace, you get amazing shell completions for most CLI tools, including Pixi since the latest release. This works on all platforms and shells.

We're taking supply chain security seriously for the Conda ecosystem. That's why we integrate deeply with the @projectsigstore ecosystem for attestation – soon coming to recipes as well to validate source code (sdist, github release) attestations.

We ❤️ our users in academia – and we love to read their success stories. PS: If you think your institute/company could benefit from Pixi as well, and you want to learn more, please reach out to us to plan something! We're looking forward to organize more workshops this year.

Pinning a dependency in Pixi is defaulting to semantic versioning, but there are more styles that you can use!
