@mikegalsworthy Just remind you the NFU is an apolitical trade association. It prepared economic scenario analysis - in 11 of 12 modelled scenarios farmers would be worse off - and left it to members to decide how to vote, given Brexit would affect every aspect of life and not just farming.

Boris Johnson promised farmers that “subsidies would stay 100% guaranteed”. The NFU council was overwhelmingly in support of "Remain", but decided not to campaign, as it would upset some of their larger farmers who were cheering Brexit. yorkshirebylines.co.uk/news/brexit/wh…
