let me tell you why it is a problem we are in an industry that famously doesn’t have many women, but does have incels everything is financialised and if you have a presence it’s expected that you have money here are some facts from the past 18 months: - after a conference I was contacted by the local police to tell me someone I was talking to had gone on to r4pe a woman minutes later - I have been air tagged at 80%+ events - I have seen and heard of women drugged by men - a man I have never spoken to sent me my full dox (I am purposely anon for safety) every time i even lightly mention that something might make women feel uncomfortable, i get the most elaborate arguments instead of support in the past two weeks i have been told i am whiny and pathetic by men and passive aggressive by women - once for disagreeing that there are no barriers to entry in crypto for women because this is an anon industry and the latter for saying that group of brazillian girls on the beach weren’t obese i am not suggesting ansem is abusing anyone, i think he is a nice guy and yes "she was in public" but normalising things has consequences and if you can’t see how telling 400,000 people that there is a financial benefit to finding random girls contact details in an industry where the above happens makes women feel uncomfortable then ?? after posting about that i was told that i shouldn’t post about crypto nerds, i should post about third world immigration because "that Is why women get r4ped" muting this thread bc I’m sure the response will be gross, but don’t ever ask why women don’t report things like the Neil Somani situation earlier when this is the energy we get and if you wonder why my account disappears regularly, it tends to be things like this
