Why Europe Can’t Escape the United States (Even When They Really, Really Want To) Europe keeps announcing it wants to “reduce dependence” on America, like a teenager declaring they’re moving out while still expecting Mom to do their laundry. Cute! Reality check: America is sewn into the fabric of Europe’s entire system via trade, tech, finance, you name it. We’re their biggest export market, their top investor, and the big brother with the world’s strongest military who keeps Vladimir Putin from turning the EU into one giant Russian theme park. They talk a big game about ditching the dollar and building their own fancy payment systems. Bold strategy, Cotton!! (I expect applause for my witty Dodgeball reference!!) But here’s the hilarious part: As Europe finally ramps up defense spending and kicks its cheap Russian energy habit, they’re suddenly more hooked on American LNG than ever. Turns out “strategic autonomy” actually smells a lot like freedom gas from Texas and Louisiana. So the real question isn’t “Can Europe ever truly become independent?” It’s “How long until they just admit they don’t want to?” America: Still undefeated at being the one everyone needs. Whether they like it or not! 😂🤣🇺🇸

“Instead of Iran charging $2M/vessel going through the Strait, the U.S. will charge a $2M escort fee for every vessel, which is about $9B a month or $100B in revenue.” “We will waive that fee for any country that participates in the coalition to open up the Strait.” BRILLIANT!!

@LFried76 @AriFleischer Well based on France siding with Russia and China at the UN, I’m not sure letting them in on the idea in advance would have been a good idea

When this is over, the western part of NATO will never be the same. Spain, England, France and Italy have sold us out, as they too often have a history of doing. Eastern European nations are the heart of NATO. They spend money on defense, know how to fight and love the US. France particularly deserves fault and blame. From supporting China and Russia at the UN to denying Americans overflight rights, they’re doing what they’ve always done - showing weakness, while cutting deals with terrorists. (The reason the US has a Marine Corps and Navy is unlike France, we refused to pay a ransom to the Barbary Pirates. France is always happy to cut a deal.) Wars have unintended consequences as nations show their true colors. NATO will never be the same, and Western European weakness and acquiescence is the cause.

Former president of Romania, Traian Basescu: "Donald Trump is reaping exactly what he has sown. He showed contempt for Europeans, he demeaned us, questioned the very existence of NATO and wanted to invade and annex Greenland, a territory that belongs to the European Union. The rejection shown today by European leaders is aimed not at the United States, but straight at Donald Trump. He comes out of this conflict humiliated, the Hormuz strait is now blocked, he failed to achieve regime change, failed to secure the uranium and proved himself incapable of defending his own allies in the Middle East. All the US allies in the Gulf that saw themselves as protected by the US were struck by Iran almost at will, whenever Iran wanted, with the US being either unwilling or unable to defend them. So Mr. Trump comes out of this with a terrible record. He started this war having absolutely no idea what he was doing, and even now, I don’t think this man is aware of or understands what he has done. Yes, Iran cannot be allowed to have nuclear weapons, but the way Trump thought he could solve that problem is one that only a child could come up with. This man still doesn’t understand what he has done and continues to be arrogant when asking us for help instead of admitting his mistake."

Fucking Finally. The Lion of Mar-a-Lago has roared with that signature, unfiltered lethality, and the message slices through the European delusion like a Tomahawk through a command bunker: the age of American subsidy for your parasitic cowardice is fucking over. To the sniveling, jet-fuel-starved cock-suckers of the United Kingdom and its spineless continental cohorts...listen the fuck up. For eighty years we have bled treasure, blood, and industrial supremacy to underwrite your decadent existence. From the Marshall Plan’s reconstruction of your war-ravaged empires to the carrier battle groups that have patrolled the Persian Gulf since the Tanker War of the 1980s, America has been your unpaid mercenary, your nuclear umbrella, your global logistics backbone. NATO? Nothing more than the North American Tribute Organization...where the United States shoulders over sixty-five percent of the alliance’s actual spending while your militaries have atrophied into hollow parade-ground husks, underfunded, undermanned, and equipped with yesterday’s gear because you chose cradle-to-grave welfare states and green virtue-signaling over steel and resolve. Geopolitically, the Strait of Hormuz is no academic footnote: it is the jugular vein of the world economy, funneling twenty-one percent of global petroleum liquids...nineteen million barrels a day...through a narrow chokepoint that asymmetric Iranian tactics...mines, anti-ship missiles, speedboat swarms...were designed to threaten precisely because they knew direct confrontation with American naval power was suicide. We and our Israeli partners have done the hard kinetic work...the precision decapitation of their leadership structure. The heavy lifting is finished. Now these same European freeloaders, who lacked the spine to commit forces when it mattered, dare complain about disrupted sea lanes? Decades of Pax Americana have bred in you a terminal strategic infantilism: a learned helplessness wrapped in smug moral superiority. You lecture the world on the “rules-based order” while outsourcing your survival to American sons and daughters. History is merciless on this point...from the Suez Crisis of 1956, when your imperial twilight exposed the limits of European power projection without U.S. backing, to the present. Your elites are psychologically castrated by comfort; your populations softened by entitlement. You forgot that freedom of navigation is not a birthright...it is enforced by gun, steel, and the will to use them. President Trump’s directive is surgical in its venomous precision: Number One, buy the fucking fuel from us...we have plenty. Number Two, grow some long-overdue balls, reconstitute what remains of your navies, sail into the Strait, and TAKE IT. No more American taxpayers dying to keep your fighters in the sky and your economies from freezing in the dark while you backstab and virtue-signal. The parasite has fed on the host long enough. The era of the United States as Europe’s security guard, banker, and scapegoat is closed. Fight for your own oil or learn to live without it. Adapt or wither. The choice is yours, but the protection racket is finished. Grow a fucking spine or don't. We don't give a fuck anymore. 💀🗡️⚖️

🚨 A-10 WARTHOGS AND APACHES ENTER THE FIGHT IN HORMUZ U.S. forces have escalated operations in the Strait of Hormuz. According to statements attributed to General Dan “Razin” Caine: A-10 Warthogs are now actively targeting Iranian fast attack boats AH-64 Apache gunships are engaging drones and militia-linked threats This is a significant shift. The A-10 is built for one purpose: Close-range destruction of ground and surface targets. And now it’s being used to hunt fast-moving vessels in one of the world’s most critical waterways. At the same time, Apaches are expanding operations across the southern flank and into Iraq — targeting threats before they can escalate. This marks a new phase: Not just strikes from above… But persistent, close-range battlefield control. And in a chokepoint like Hormuz— That changes everything.

Europe told Trump and Vance, clearly and seriously, that Russia’s war against Ukraine and its hybrid warfare campaign across the continent represents the greatest security threat Europe has faced since 1945. Europe said this as a NATO ally. As a partner of seven decades. As a bloc that has housed American bases, funded American adventures, and sent its sons to die in American wars without much complaint. Trump and Vance looked at this and said: not our problem. It’s happening on your continent. We have important things to attend to. The important things turned out to be nothing. There were no important things. There was golf, there was television, and there was a remarkable amount of time spent being angry about things on the internet. Then, approximately some months later, the same administration announced it intended to seize Greenland. A sovereign territory. From a NATO ally. By force if necessary. So to summarise: defending Europe from an actively invading nuclear power is not America’s problem. Illegally annexing a Danish island in the Arctic is apparently a matter of urgent national interest. Now. If anyone in the MAGA universe is sitting there expecting Europe to provide diplomatic cover, logistical support, intelligence sharing, or a single sympathetic press release for whatever America is currently doing in the Middle East, I have some news for you. You told us you weren’t our allies. We were listening. You don’t get to turn the alliance on and off depending on which direction the aggression is pointing. That is not how it works. That is not how any of this works. Europe will not be helping. Europe will be watching. You made that bed. Enjoy it. Stay connected, Follow Gandalv @Microinteracti1

Most men today would not have the courage. Three years ago, I traced my direct paternal lineage back to 1077 in Scotland. My family, the Rose Clan, was loyal to Scotland & fought under the direct command of Robert the Bruce to win the war against England—starving & outnumbered. Something about those bagpipes hits the soul somewhere deep🇺🇸🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Starmer is a disastrous prime minister. He gets absolutely everything wrong. It’s hard to imagine anyone less suited to the job. Britain’s status in the world has never been lower. Trump is not going to take this country seriously until Starmer is gone. And who can blame him?
