@Aktieland You don’t often get a company like $NVO with a dominant position in a massive growing market trading at one of the lowest valuations in its history.

"Look at the PE history..." Exactly. $NVO is trading around 10x earnings today versus a historical average closer to 25x. The business is larger. The obesity market is larger. The pipeline is larger. The valuation is smaller. I've seen many worse times to buy Novo Nordisk.

75% being first time GLP-1 users is the key takeaway. Oral Wegovy is a gateway that is expanding TAM. $NVO $HIMS

@NotA_Bull As sentiment normalizes, people are remembering that $UNH is still a cash generating healthcare giant with massive scale and profitability. I would love to add more on a pullback after this move.

Life lesson: Load with $UNH every time it's below $300

I like to think that’s exactly what’s creating the opportunity here. As always, I try to stay unbiased with new information coming out and assess, “Does it damage the original thesis or strengthen it”? The sentiment feels disconnected from what we’re seeing commercially. Maybe the market is focused on near term execution and competitive fears, while I’m looking at where this space could be 5-10 years from now. Either way, it’s always refreshing getting insight from someone who actually prescribes these therapies and sees the patient side of the equation every day. Invaluable insight Doc. Keep up the hard work. I love the content and your perspective.

Sounds like you have strong reasoned conviction, wishing you the best!! I agree with the TAM expanding, I’ve also alluded to similar points on my posts. I actually use a whole range of novo products at work already eg. Novomix, novorapid insulin injections for my patients. I’m excited by the prospect of prescribing Wegovy pill to my patients too, and potentially cagrisema for T2D patients with obesity too given the incredible benefits of semaglutide. Definitely a massive role for Novo in the expanding obesity TAM. I don’t understand the negative sentiment from the market however. Sometimes fundamentals can be in place, but the market can be irrational. Market doesn’t behave logically. At times, balance sheet can also look handsome but the market doesn’t give a toss (eg. DUOL!!)

Added more $NVO today. When I look at the next 5-10 years, I see A global obesity market that keeps getting larger. A pipeline that extends beyond today’s products. Yet the stock trades as if growth is over. That’s the disconnect I’m buying.

This company was never meant to stay a US telehealth app selling a few medications. The real vision is to become a global, vertically integrated consumer healthcare platform. Global expansion is already happening. Through Eucalyptus, $HIMS is gaining exposure to markets like Canada, the UK, Germany, Australia and Japan instead of building every operation from zero. Then come peptides. $HIMS acquired a US peptide facility, giving the company more control over manufacturing, supply, personalization and potentially margins. Peptides could eventually expand the platform into areas like metabolic health, hormonal health, recovery and longevity, depending on regulatory and clinical progress. The thesis is becoming clearer: Expand globally. Enter more healthcare categories. Own more of the supply chain. Use AI and data to personalize treatment. Build long-term relationships with customers across multiple parts of their health. The market keeps judging $HIMS based on short-term GLP-1 noise. I’m focused on what this platform could become over the next five to ten years. This is exactly why $HIMS remains one of my next high-conviction growth bets.

@EnergyWaterFood The oral market is still in its infancy too. If adoption continues at this pace, I wouldn’t be surprised to see estimates revised higher again over the next few years.

@AccumulationZ Goldman admits they have been way to conservative on NVO's Wegovy Pill, raising its 2030 oral obesity market share from 16% to 38% and more than doubled its peak sales estimate from $8B to $17.4B. Just the start of many more admissions to come.

Fair point Doc. The S&P is definitely the more predictable choice. My view is that $NVO valuation already reflects a lot of bad news, while the obesity market is still expanding rapidly. If that thesis plays out, I believe the upside from today’s price is far greater than what I’d expect from the S&P over the next few years. Once again dependent on the thesis playing out, but that’s a bet I’m willing to take.

@AccumulationZ Looks really undervalued to me! Horrible opportunity cost though, had that money been in an index fund the returns would have been more predictable Do you think the stocks valuation would increase more than the S&P over the next 2-3 years?

@KickWestra Especially at these levels with a solid dividend. I plan to continue accumulating and reinvesting dividends until the market figures it out.
