The label “heretic” gets thrown around way too easily these days. If you profess the Nicene Creed & the Apostles’ Creed, you count as a legitimate Christian. Period. Christians will always disagree about important political & social issues and matters of doctrine. The inconsistency sows confusion and pits “anti-war” vs. “pro-security” factions against each other within Trump’s base. To say the exact opposite of things you insisted upon months ago? 🤨 3) Exploiting existing fault lines: By framing the Iran strikes as Israeli-driven “warmongering” (utterly ridiculous) and hinting at suppressed internal dissent (e.g., his Charlie Kirk anecdote), it weaponizes isolationist/anti-Israel sentiments vs. hawkish/pro-Israel ones - thus, fracturing the coalition that elected Trump and weakening his support. 4) And curious timing, is it not? The dramatic resignation and interview drop right as the Iran war's early phase is generating mixed public reactions? It creates a ready-made “dissent from within” figurehead leading into full-blown infighting during a critical national security moment. As the kids would say: That’s sus.
