Holding BC's elected officials accountable for their mistakes and hypocrisy. #bcpoli

I just got off the Mike Smyth show and I’m going to say it straight. The firejohnrustad.ca website and the smear mailer that went out in the final weeks of the 2024 election? Elections BC just confirmed it was BC United behind it and fined them $4,500. When it first appeared I figured it had to be the NDP. Never in a million years did I think it was coming from the leadership of BC United. But it was. This wasn’t some rogue operation. This was a straight-up failure of leadership at the top. Kevin Falcon was the leader. Caroline Elliott was the vice-president for some time and his sister-in-law. Both of them now say they knew nothing about it. Mark Werner, their campaign manager, says the same. Come on. I’ve run campaigns. You don’t spend that kind of money on a slick, professional hit job without the leader and the senior team knowing exactly what’s going on. Saying “I knew nothing” is simply not credible. We lost the chance to form government by just three seats, some ridings by 22 votes. This kind of thing matters. The BC Conservative Party has to be better than this. We need real leadership and real accountability, not excuses from people who let this happen on their watch. That’s what I told Mike. That’s what I believe. — John Rustad

The Liberals won Terrebone, Quebec. The Bloc candidate and the lead all night, until they counted the advanced votes, and then things miraculously flipped. Max Bernier's PPC party came in 6th, just ahead of the Rhinoceros Party.

@wyatt_claypool @Managedtech Not the case at all Wyatt, but as founder of the trusted National Telegraph you have never been too concerned about facts.

Honoured to receive the endorsement of Warren Hamm. Like me, Warren understands the importance of uniting the right to beat the NDP and he will help us keep our Party conservative. Let’s protect our party and build our province!

✈️ Within a minute, the IDF eliminated 180+ Hezbollah terrorists in 3 areas simultaneously in a large-scale strike based on precise and high-quality intelligence. ~100 targets were struck simultaneously across Beirut, the Beqaa, and southern Lebanon, including main command centers, military structures used by Hezbollah commanders and multiple terror infrastructure sites used by top Hezbollah operatives. Prior to the strikes, steps were taken to mitigate harm to uninvolved civilians as much as possible, including using precise ammunition and aerial surveillance.
