I was honored to work alongside President Carter to promote democracy and free elections around the world, including in Lebanon in 2009. His commitment to human rights wasn't just a philosophy it was his life's work and every day act of service.

Yesterday, we lost President Jimmy Carter, a leader whose life embodied service—from the @USNavy to governor to 39th president, where he championed a “competent, compassionate” government. I join the millions of Americans who honor & draw inspiration from his enduring principles.

Great collaboration with private sector, local leaders, & federal reps at DC’s Heating Operations and Transmission Division (#HOTD). Discussed @USGSA’s privatization #RFI to drive innovation, strengthen public-private partnerships, & address DC’s energy costs & security.

As #ClimateWeekNYC begins, I’m proud to share @USGSA’s sustainability strides! Through the #InvestingInAmerica agenda, we’re pushing for net-zero emissions by 2045 & 100% carbon-free electricity by 2030—resulting in more jobs, saving taxpayers money, & a healthier future for all.

.@USGSA is working to transition the federal fleet to 100% electric by 2035, and the new electric buses at @NatlParkService's @ZionNPS showcase this progress. These sustainable investments reduce pollution, protect our parks, and preserve natural beauty for future generations!

Honored to join @DHSgov, @CBP, & @MaineDOT1 in cutting the ribbon on the new Madawaska #LandPortofEntry—a 21-year cross-agency project set to save time, money, and advance national #sustainability goals, while strengthening the communities on both sides of the U.S.-Canada border.
