Advancing Agricultural Mechanization in Somalia 🇸🇴 🌽 On 18 June 2026, The Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation of Hirshabelle State of Somalia has distributed maize threshing machines to farmers in Jowhar to enhance agricultural productivity and reduce post-harvest losses. The introduction of these machines will improve threshing efficiency, save time and labor, increase grain quality, and boost maize production.
