Despite the announcement of a ceasefire, the Israeli Air Force continues to carry out strikes in Iran. Iran, meanwhile, has fire several salvos of ballistic missiles at Israel since the ceasefire was reportedly supposed to take effect.

Oh, this is unbelievable. The edit history on this tweet shows that Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif originally copied and pasted everything he was sent, including: "*Draft - Pakistan's PM Message on X*" Now, obviously, Sharif's own staff don't call him "Pakistan's PM," they would just call him prime minister. The U.S. and Israel, of course, would call him "Pakistan's PM." Would be funny if the fate of the world wasn't hanging in the balance.

@mtracey Considering that the Iranians are already violating the cease fire by continuing to launch missiles into Israel, my guess is that Trump wanted the cover of a failed cease fire before he went to the extremes.

Unless he just had a monumental head-spinning epiphany today, it seems unlikely that Trump has suddenly “accepted Iran's control over the Strait of Hormuz,” agrees they have a “right” to continue enriching uranium, and agreed to remove all sanctions
