What slow OSS do you use on a daily basis?
Send it to me and I might take a look on a stream/video next week!

A lot of people ask me for a link to my YouTube channel, presumably to watch perf content 😅 But... what would you guys even want to see? LMK and I might start one!

@sergiodxa And sandboxes are even better! kentcdodds.com/blog/simplifyi…

@kentcdodds MCP as the middleware layer between agents and tools is the move. Everything integrates the same way—Claude, Cursor, custom agents. This is how agent orchestration actually scales. 🔐

@adamwathan @vite_js vite 8 support right at release. this is why tailwind wins. ecosystem alignment matters more than features.

Shipped Tailwind CSS v4.2.2 today, with support for @vite_js 8.0 ⚡

@username_pink_ @BarrettSallee I, too, miss the good ole days when we also had a starting rotation that could make it to October, fun times

@BarrettSallee I remember when we could walk to Turner field and see this

@GregorySchier @sanches_free It looks like a beautiful display. Wish it wasn’t so expensive for P3 displays at 120Hz

@wesbos @aethersgg Need some centering on the div that's wrapping "GOOD"
English

Cursor just launched Composer 2 - their own model.
It's 10× cheaper than Opus 4.6 and supposed to rival it.
I've been using it for a few days, I don't have any skewed graphs to show you but from a pure vibes POV I can tell you it's pretty good™
My litmus test right now is if it can build a 3D Printable model with Manifold CAD. I build a Gif zoetrope generator and it did fantastic.

English

@GregorySchier @sanches_free Do you know why it didn’t work? That sounds odd, I’ve only heard good things about the framework laptops with regards to hardware/drivers.
Tough to find a good display to pair with a Mac that’s not $2000+. Let us know if you find the silver bullet!
English

@JamesLex @sanches_free Same amount of pixels. I got a Framework laptop and it didn't work with the old LG 5k display. Was thinking of getting a better display soon anyway.
English

@sanches_free Ya but 2x faster isn't going to help much. Better to find other ways to improve that.

ICYMI: We made (what I think is) the first ever pre-tourney perfect bracket!

Keep us updated! This is so fascinating.
Curious what you think of this:
Most everyone recommends high-thinking models for planning (Codex 5.3 or Opus 4.6 on ultra high), but an all-purpose model for the coding work.
I’ve always been skeptical because that’s rarely how human intelligence works. A senior engineer who designs an app would work differently than a junior developer. Junior dev might pound the keyboard faster, but the senior dev works more efficiently because they understand the *why* of each decision.
So for the night shift, should the manager be on Opus 4.6 high and the subagents on Gemini 3.0 fast?
Or do you let one model both design and build to maximize consistency of thought?
English

The "night shift" AI agent missed the mark last night in one detail, and I'm using Cursor to figure out why.
Cursor (Opus 4.6) says that I actually got it right in the spec, but the agent missed the design intent.
Next I'll ask it how I could have improved the spec or the docs in order to not let this happen again.

@nikitabier Apple just wants to rough you up a bit occasionally to show you who’s boss.
