Cursor just dropped a T3 Code clone

Nice. @cursor_ai just dropped their new "Glass" alpha, and they're leaning heavily into the simplified coding GUI trend that's been blowing up lately. First impressions are really positive. And just look at how insanely fast Composer 2 is. First impressions? Drop yours 👇

Cursor just launched Composer 2 - their own model. It's 10× cheaper than Opus 4.6 and supposed to rival it. I've been using it for a few days, I don't have any skewed graphs to show you but from a pure vibes POV I can tell you it's pretty good™ My litmus test right now is if it can build a 3D Printable model with Manifold CAD. I build a Gif zoetrope generator and it did fantastic.

This is how easy it's going to be to send emails on Cloudflare when Email Sending becomes generally available, it couldn't be simpler: 1. Onboard your domain, effectively two clicks in the dashboard 2. Add the email binding to Wrangler config 3. Send emails using the code below

@tan_stack Cool idea but very limited. Realtime voice APIs are way too expensive still compared to pipeline STT + LLM + TTS. Any plans to support that?

Building realtime voice AI is usually a pain: WebRTC, audio streams, tool execution, state 😵 TanStack AI now handles that w/ useRealtimeChat()🎙️ 🔊 Voice in / Voice out 🧠 Tools/State 🖼 Multimodal ⚡ Realtime transcripts Supports OpenAI Realtime & ElevenLabs 🔗⬇🧵

I’m building a personal social posting desktop app with Electron so I can post while I sleep 🤓 I want to level up my short-form content game, but most tools out there are limited, expensive, awkward to use, and require full access to your social accounts. What if you could communicate directly with each platform instead of going through a third party? Your credentials stay local. Your files stay on your Mac. As long as your Mac is on (even sleeping), the scheduler runs and posts automatically. No middleman. No subscriptions. No extra access. Just you and the platforms. 🤷‍♂️

@betomoedano The control you gain by implementing auth far outweighs the cons. That email, or phone number is too valuable. Also, it's easier to prevent abuse if authed, rate limits, ai usage, etc.

Most apps don't need authentication Auth hurts you in ways you don't expect: it adds friction to onboarding, makes App Store reviews harder, forces you to implement account deletion, and creates a whole layer of maintenance you didn't ask for You can always add it later. Ship without it first

@Yuval_Shimoni @theo Plan mode: Here's what I want to do. Yes, do that. Don't do that. What about this? Anything else? Thought of this? No never do that. Okay I love this. Build mode: Go fight win.

@tannerlinsley @theo oh yes, I've been rocking these. I used @tan_stack Intent + T3 code (GPT 5.4 high) to build my mom a tanstack Start site on Cloudflare, and it was smooth sailing.

@theo This is the exact same reason I am using open code instead of any other TUI. DX/UX matters. If there's one thing I trust Theo and team to do is nail that, especially for power users who need real perf , real workflows, and insanely good customization.

@ReactNativeRwd seems like you need to update the sentry CLI message for dynamic configs in expo @sentry. The plugin name is missing the /expo.

Have you ever had a user report that your app "won't even open," but your error logs are completely empty? It is a frustrating blind spot. If a crash happens during the native boot sequence before the JavaScript engine has a chance to initialise, standard React Native error handlers are usually left in the dark. 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗰𝘁 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝟴.𝟬 has arrived to close that visibility gap. This major update is a complete overhaul focused on capturing the failures that happen in those critical first milliseconds of your app's lifecycle. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗱? Historically, if your app crashed during the native "App Start" phase, the JS-based SDK wouldn't have started yet, leaving you with no stack trace. Version 8.0 re-engineers how the SDK hooks into the native layer (Android and iOS) to ensure that even the earliest crashes are recorded and linked to your project. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗱? ➡️ 𝗔𝗽𝗽 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗘𝗿𝗿𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴: The SDK now captures native crashes that occur before the React Native layer is loaded. This means you can finally debug why an app is "dying on launch" instead of guessing. ➡️ 𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Beyond crashes, it improves how it tracks cold and warm starts, giving you a clear breakdown of how much time is spent in the native boot process versus the JS bundle loading. ➡️ 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝗣𝗜: This release cleans up years of legacy baggage, moving to a more unified configuration that aligns with the latest 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗝𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁 𝗦𝗗𝗞 patterns. 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗶𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀? The biggest hurdle to a 5-star app rating is stability. By providing visibility into the native-to-JS handoff, 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆 is moving beyond just "catching JS errors" to providing a holistic view of app health. It transforms the "black box" of the startup sequence into actionable data. #ReactNative #Sentry #MobileDev #ErrorTracking #NewArchitecture #Fabric #OpenSource #JavaScript #TypeScript #MobilePerformance #DevTools #Debugging

WOW, The State of React Native survey results are wild: 🥇 #1 Video Creator 🥈 #2 React Native Podcast 📚 Galaxies mentioned among the places developers learn React Native and @expo Honestly pretty crazy. Thanks to everyone building with React Native and being part of this community 🙌 As a small celebration I opened a 48h Galaxies lifetime discount for anyone who wants to join the platform. 🔗 galaxies.dev/subscription?d… Let’s ship more apps 🚀

As consultants, I don't think we have the luxury of picking one agentic coding system and sticking with it. Our clients will use a variety of systems and I think we need to know them very well. I'm personally using @claudeai Code and @cursor_ai now about equal time. This is intentional, so I can really understand the pros and cons of each and follow their progress. I've just started integrating @openai Codex, which I'll aim for equal time with the above, and also use @charliehelps for code review and kicking off async work while I'm mobile. It's a very different paradigm. Also on my list to try: - @opencode - @ampcode - ? (suggest ideas if you think I'm missing something important) Particularly interested in opencode; I have my internal agent exploration team (especially @coolsoftwaredev) trying it out. I'll integrate it as well at some point here.
