New paper out of the lab today from @karenwong1013 - we show that a subset of growth factor-responsive gene activation requires the nuclear kinase MSK2, which phosphorylates H3K9me2S10 at enhancers of these responsive genes prior to their transcription. science.org/doi/10.1126/sc…
