it's weird that I have an emotional attachment to photos I've taken, in a way that people don't necessarily reciprocate. When you look at photos of yourself or your family that you love, do you think about the person who took it, at all, ever? Hoping this doesn't sound nuts

It’s weird being a photographer in the 21st-century because sometimes you’ll see a friend re-post a photo you took, posted by a former friend who sent you a super long angry text officially unfriending you months ago. But I guess still loves the photos you took of her baby? 😬

@xkcd I know someone who works in R&D and ran a big project related to space habitats on Mars. They had a giant interactive exhibit that required really expensive 3D equipment. After the expo the company just...didn't take it back. The department now uses it for Beat Saber tournaments.

@9swords @embarragan1 Good tips, but the thing about heat escaping most from the head is a myth. The people who did the study that was based on had someone bundled up but without a hat.

@embarragan1 Put on layers of clothing, starting with tight to work up, double pants, double socks, under-shirt then shirt then sweater. Tuck your (closest to the body) shirt into your pants and have at least three layers. Heat escapes most from head, so wear a hat and a hoodie. More to come.
