Can science and religion coexist, or are they fundamentally at odds? ✍️

@Mandlbaur @PhysInHistory Why would I care if you block me? I'm not the one posting about online seeking physicists' & engineers' attention. And I'm not going to lie to make you feel better. Your textbook problem's math is too rudimentary to fully model reality, & you're the only one confused about that

Conspiracy theorists create a world where they can’t be wrong. Evidence doesn’t matter, because they’ve already decided that disagreement = corruption.

@JinemanFim @Ferrari_ball @Mandlbaur @PhysInHistory He doggedly believes light has mass and maintains some truly weird ideas about particles as a result x.com/tarapatton555/…

@Mandlbaur @derShasta @JasonBeeYorn When someone tried to explain that, & other things (like that light having mass would require all photons having infinite energy) you offered one of the weirdest crank theories ever, conflating multiple fundamental forces and showing complete ignorance of what a particle even is.

@Mandlbaur @PhysInHistory That is a concoction of wildly misunderstood and plain false statements about the history of physics. Newton invented the ball on the string? Are you kidding me? My god they were right about you.

@JinemanFim @Mandlbaur @PhysInHistory Most at first think he's trolling because it's hard to believe somebody could be sincerely wrong like this. But he is unwell. Read around through his posts and you'll find him indulging in paranoid delusions, like that Elon Musk bought twitter to silence him. Seriously.

@Mandlbaur @PhysInHistory Your central confusion seems to be an assumption that a real ball on a string held by a person's hand would ever be expected to conserve angular momentum (it wouldn't be), and that complicating variables are negligible.

@Mandlbaur @PhysInHistory I rationally asked you for evidence of your claim. You are the one who is impugning the integrity of scientists. Let's end the conversation here.
