@TheHerdBros The resources are there. Boosters just weren’t investing in Pittman. Look at the basketball program.
Pittman was an “aw shucks” guy who was happy doing the job for a case of cold beer. Sexton convinces him he deserves SEC money, and wanted us to believe he’s a real coach.

No disrespect, but why do the top Group of 5 coaches accept jobs where they may never compete for a conference championship?
I understand moving to the Big 12 or ACC — but Arkansas?
The resources are not there to compete with Texas, Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, etc.

UPDATE 🚨Arkansas AD Hunter Yurachek is being considered for CFP committee chair. He is currently on the committee. The CFP management committee has to approve it before it’s official.

@fqArkansas I don’t believe Muss was offered Louisville job. Sources say Scott Drew or Dusty May are their targets. Muss’ disgruntlement seems to be he doesn’t believe Arkansas gives him a chance to compete (NIL). If he leaves for SMU that will be confirmed.

From what i know, Muss has already declined one job (Louisville) and there is an extension on his desk, that has not been signed yet
SMU is going after big names and has the financial backing who are wanting to get basketball rolling
I do expect an interview with SMU and Muss soon
