Ste whats ya opinion on that crab in goal mate. I think hes fkin crap.
Ste Hoare@stehoare
No lack of effort but a complete lack of quality.
English

@DylanR777 @Carl_M79 That’s basically how Rafa always set us up, fair enough away goals were a thing then. But we go away, try and stay at 0-0 and maybe nick an away goal. It isn’t an unusual thing to do, he just got it badly wrong last week.
English

@Carl_M79 He's basically told the players let's not get beat by too many because we can't compete with these, then anfield will hold your hands next week. Can't have that mindset as LFC manager. You go toe to toe or you don't go at all if you lose you lose. It's cowardly.
English

@Carl_M79 I really want to be wrong, but I just can’t see it tonight. So many of the players seem so unfit, so can’t feed as easy off the atmosphere.

@LFC_211 @from_hackney @PaperGooner @LewManUtd @DougieCritchley Even more prevalent when my point wasn’t even just about Arsenal 😂
English

@from_hackney @RobLFC_ @PaperGooner @LewManUtd @DougieCritchley When you start to lie to make a point, you know you are losing the argument. Even us in our shitty state have more open play goals than you set piece merchants 😂

English

@LFC_211 @from_hackney @PaperGooner @LewManUtd @DougieCritchley I’m even talking generally, games that have no impact on us. The league, with the over reliance on set pieces and keeping scores low is killing the product.
English

@RobLFC_ @from_hackney @PaperGooner @LewManUtd @DougieCritchley Our football has been absolutely pathetic this season, and I can count the number of games I’ve enjoyed on one hand. But we aren’t delusional about it, we know we’ve been shit and can accept it
English

@LFC_211 @from_hackney @PaperGooner @LewManUtd @DougieCritchley Which we’ve, being Liverpool fans have experienced this season and not a lot of the fanbase are happy with. I want to see Liverpool win, but we watch football for entertainment. I genuinely can’t remember many times this season, watching any team. Which I’ve really enjoyed.
English

@from_hackney @RobLFC_ @PaperGooner @LewManUtd @DougieCritchley Or you can do what Arsenal did yesterday and play a cautious approach, create 0.19 xG at home against a mid table side, and still lose.
English

@from_hackney @LFC_211 @PaperGooner @LewManUtd @DougieCritchley it, goals were down immensely compared to other seasons. I’d also be very shocked if actual play time isn’t down massively on the last few seasons too given the heavy reliance on set pieces and teams being “smart”
English

@from_hackney @LFC_211 @PaperGooner @LewManUtd @DougieCritchley People watch football to be entertained. This season the product has been terrible, not picking on Arsenal but using as a barometer. Arsenal are on track to score 74 goals this season in the league. The last champion to have less was Leicester in 15/16. Last time I seen stats for
English

@LFC_211 @PaperGooner @LewManUtd @DougieCritchley So many games this season was complete none events. So few goals, extremely low output.
English

@PaperGooner @LewManUtd @DougieCritchley ‘Multiple attacking stars’
Haaland, Semenyo, Cherki.
And they play the best football in the league this season, which granted isn’t great but the standard of the league is in the gutter so by default they play the best football because literally everyone else is shit
English

@Carl_M79 You’d think Rio has to start. Get him to get Anfield even more going and hope it works.
English

@AhmedSa21980828 @cmclarnon89 @FPLfrasier Salah has dropped off and it is fine to admit. The only thing that could get maybe another year is selfless runners around him with raw pace. Is why he looked so much better with Diaz/Jota/Nunez/Szobo last year.
English

@cmclarnon89 @FPLfrasier His current form is the prime for a lot of “top players” if you can’t see that this is a Slot problem and not a Salah problem you don’t understand football
English

I may be proven wrong, but I think Salah still has 1-2 years at the very top level.
Watching him closely, my feeling is the issue at times is in his head. I don’t know him personally to know what it is. But, his pace is okay, he is getting into good positions. He just messes up a few situations now. Once his confidence is fully back he should be fine.
English

@andy_tay1 @davidlynchlfc Bournemouth were comfortably the better footballing team today.
English

@davidlynchlfc Arsenal were always the better footballing side David, but Bournemouth fought for everything and all credit to them 😊
English

@mtawa_ally @EmiSmithShowe Valencia was a rw for most of his career, which is being counted into his assists 😂
English

@EmiSmithShowe TAA and Robertson take setpieaces valencia did not
English

Are those Valencia's assists only as a left back, or his career Premier League assists?
LiveScore@livescore
Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson lead the Premier League for all time assists by defenders 🅰️👑 They’ve both left Liverpool within the space of just one year… End of a legendary era. 🤝
English

@Carl_M79 We just do not look like scoring. Even in the opening 30 against City, we looked bright. But never made much of anything.
English

@Dan23_92 Especially when Kvaratskhelia got away without a yellow for a professional foul earlier
English

@JK_Excelsior @FrankEra_ Far as I know, PSR doesn’t care about the structure of deals. But is calculated by removing book value (remaining transfer fee. Eg 50m on a 5 year is seen as 10m a year)
If you sell after 2 years for 100m. You book £70m profit in that year you’ve sold.
English

@FrankEra_ I don’t think anyone pays big fees upfront these days, everyone’s paying it on the drip for PSR. Makes no sense to pay it all at once as it just hinders the rest of the window
English

Don’t think this is true.. but City get these type of deals because they have the luxury of being able to pay the entire fee upfront.
£65M upfront probably, while we’d be giving Forest £20M a year spread across 4/5 years.
It’s a big advantage when dealing with clubs.
City Xtra@City_Xtra
#ManCity believe they have won the race to sign Elliot Anderson and are confident of a £65M deal. The 23-year-old has let it be known that the Etihad Stadium is his preferred choice and @ManCity are keen to get a deal over the line before the World Cup. [via @MirrorFootball]
