St Patrick was from Britain, most likely north England or Scotland. Scotland is as close as 19km from Ireland. On a clear day you can see it from Northern Ireland. St Patrick was pretty much of the same genetic make-up as the Irish. He spoke the same language and shared his Catholic faith with much of the Irish. For the extreme left-wing Irish President to describe him as a “migrant”, indistinguishable from illegal African immigrants arriving today is simply laughable.
