@DouglasRob0 Why not? Because they might vote the ‘wrong’ way? My children and grandchildren at 16 were able to listen to reasoned arguments and make valid decisions. There are lots of grown-ups that are less able than 16yo to make sensible decisions. 16yo voters didn’t cause Brexit!

The SNP’s plan to tax drivers in Rutherglen, Cambuslang and Blantyre has caused a lot of worry here, especially with many bus services cut or reduced and folk reliant on cars to get to hospital appointments. @AnasSarwar has made the right call.
