BBC TV Licensing threat seems to be a lot more pushy this month... Allegedly I have a 10 day window to purchase a license for a service that I do not use, otherwise an enforcement team will visit me (despite not knowing who I am).

Yes, you're reading that correctly... The labour government is considering taxing you for watching Netflix. Why? So they can continue to fund the BBC. People have been rejecting the TV license by simply not watching their BBC programmes anymore, feeling it is no longer fit for purpose and that they are no longer politically impartial. Yet, they are turning a blind eye to this very clear sign of decline and have decided the solution to this is more tax.
