This is pathetic from Rosenior tbh.
Maresca didn’t complain about the squads mentality or fight. In fact, last season when things got rough, the PLAYERS, stood up and were counted. Turning the season around.
I think it’s easy for a crap manager to blame characters because he was bad.

Exclusive: Understand some of Rosenior's feedback and advice on the current squad was to sign more 'men', he believed that apart from a select few players, not many would actually 'stand up and fight' when the tide got tough. The few senior players Chelsea do have were also understood to be 'too quiet'. A few squad members were also understood to have the behaviour of 'petulant children' when they were not picked or something did not go their way.

Liam Rosenior’s time at Chelsea was bad, there’s no denying that. Certain quotes didn’t help. But the way he has been ridiculed by certain people, including some of his former team-mates, is cruel. I hope he is ok and can rebuild himself because there’s a good manager in there.

Now that he's gone. I feel bad for the bloke, he is getting absolutely rinsed online after being on a decently stable trajectory at Strasbourg, now completely derailed. It's sad, honestly. I know he "took" the job, but no one in his position would realistically turn it down.

At Strasbourg he had 3 seasons of some of the highest transfer spends in France bar PSG. To place 8th with a win ratio under 50%...
