From our side, the upcoming XRPL lending protocol looks a bit different from Aave style lending. Feels more like fixed term credit with underwriting behind it, rather than the typical overcollateralized DeFi borrow/lend model like Aave/Strobe
Could be really valuable for XRPL, just maybe serving a different use case? Curious to learn what your thoughts are

RLUSD is used in lending and borrowing on ETH via Aave.
Once we have the lending protocol on XRP available, we have a capital efficient credit feature. Not only for RLUSD, but also projects like Ripple Treasury could tap into yield generation cheaper and natively on chain.

@WKahneman XRPL EVM is pretty powerful for this tbh. You can utilise the full programability of the sidechain, while abstracting all of the complexity away and your users having the same experience they would on an XRPL mainnet platform. Both @StrobeFinance and @AxiomProtocol_ do this

Great to connect with the @xrpl_commons team and fellow builders at last week’s #XRPL Meetup in London 🇬🇧
A few members of the Strobe team were there in person. Always good to take the conversations off chain and meet the people building across the #XRPLedger.
A lot of the discussion centered around tokenization and RWAs as alternative investment avenues, especially in an institutionally compliant way. Clear signal that the next phase of DeFi on the ledger is taking shape.
Strong energy in the room and plenty of thoughtful discussions about where the XRPL ecosystem is heading.

This is an amazing and very much needed proposal for the XRPL ecosystem. It aligns with what XRPL needs right now: more support, resources, capital in builders' hands, controlled by the community.
I love the merit-based, retroactive approach: rewarding builders who have stuck it out through the downturns based on real onchain metrics. It's smart, fair, and exactly the kind of incentive we need to recognize those grinding in the trenches without waiting for perfect market conditions.
