Highrook is being featured as part of the "Steam Scream" Festival. Obviously there's no discount or anything. But there's still a demo to check out, and an seasonal spooky opportunity to wishlist the game and spread the word!

Adding Ammann-Beenker tiling to Sylves. I'd love to do all the common aperiodic substitution tilings, but right now it's really tedious to specify these.

i'm giving a talk at this year's roguelike celebration. for those not familiar, it's a really wonderful (free and fully streamed) conference on roguelikes, game making, procedural generation, and the philosophy of game design. my talk will be on landscapes.

@AlexRoseGames Yeah I think about this too, but recently I've come across folk with a lot of money who want to be 'entrepreneurs' and also have absolutely zero common sense or morals.. so...if you can hit one of those then maybe?

@TomNullpointer but are those hits even worth having, like emails that ask for business partners, would you really want to be in business with someone who's like "ah yes an unsolicited spam mail, this is who I will partner with"

how is unsolicited business email spam a thing, do they actually get customers like this or do they just do it because they've been told it's a good idea?
