Worst food in the industry, which is really saying something, they charge for premium seats then switch the plane and don’t refund fairly. They are so damn corrupt. Platinum flyer here and I would love to see @AHoensbroech fired and a CEO that actually cares about the customer verses his bonus.

@Miller1Lance @WestJet WestJet spent the first 25 years building a proud reputation as a friendly and reliable airline with good customer service. Mottos like “owners care” and “careanteed.” @AHoensbroech has been destroying that reputation for the past 4 years. Sad downward spiral.

@WestJet has become such a shitty airline. When it was employee owned it was awesome, now the current CEO is driving it to the ground. Delays, switching planes, dog food for meals, and total disregard for the customers. FIRE THE CEO and get someone that knows that the fuck they are doing.

They cancel or delay flights at last minute, don’t provide a clear reason, don’t rebook pax timely, their IT doesn’t work, they refuse to rebook on other airlines or offer any compensation. And their customer service is unreachable. Awful airline.

@WestJet we are just about to board flight 2135 which was to leave cancun at 2pm today. Westjet stranded us and refused to cancel the flight so thy didn’t have to comp our hotels.

Fun fact: @WestJet thinks it's perfectly acceptable to move half of my family from the premium economy seats I booked and paid for months ago to the back of the aircraft with no notice or recourse. I remember when this company prided itself on customer experience. Total joke.

@yyccammo @WestJet It’s a tough situation, but WestJet is dropping the ball badly. They aren’t rebooking pax timely, have been way slower than other airlines at adding capacity to recover, communication is awful, and their customer service is unreachable. Awful airline.

@westjet stranding people at Maui airport in the middle of a storm with no communication water food or blankets to sleep in the terminal after cancelling multiple flights including fictisious rebooks, with an infant no less with no hotels available is completely unacceptable. I will go out of my way to avoid westjet on all future travel and promote other to do the same with my story... and don't give me weather BS we were at the airport for 24 hrs and flights have been landing and taking off from all other airlines....including other westjet flights no less.

@WestJet hi WestJet we have had 2 cancelled flights in @Maui and none of your staff can help us. 2 days inn the airport and blankets, no food voucher. Getting told the WestJet people at the door are not westjst employees and they know nothing to help us....

Booked month ago in premium on @WestJet. 2 days before they moved us out to economy. Called and apparently nobody in the entire giant WestJet corporation can help. What trash. Been a credit card holder and only flown with them for years. Won’t be doing that again.

@DanJohnsonAB @WestJet @annedrewa If they bumped you off a flight due to overbooking, they’re supposed to ask for volunteers first before involuntarily rebooking. WestJet is awful about this and ignores the rules. Check your rights and file a CTA complaint if they did bump you.

@WestJet flight from Tampa to Toronto really screwed things up with premium seating. After paying 8 months ago, they bumped us from premium to row 25 due to plane change. Plane changed back but our seats were gone. Poor service and longer line than economy for resolution.
