The @WestJet policy of "no carry on" bags is absolutely obscene, even by airline standards. My flight was barely 50% full, yet I had to pay at the gate $70!! to check my bag because apparently I had the wrong type of ticket. If flying to/from Canada, use someone else. #gouging

@makeitBUtiful You know it’s a scammer when they reach out quickly and seem eager to help. The real WestJet just ignores customers, doesn’t answer calls, and leaves them stranded. Such an awful airline now.

@SandieDouglas5 @WestJet WestJet are abysmal at handling downgrades or issues. They leave customers with zero options, no customer service. The most insulting part is that they refuse to offer a fair refund to compensate for the downgrade. Awful airline now.

@WestJet Just wanted to thank you for cancelling my flight an hour before and not being able to rebook me to get to my dad’s funeral service tomorrow. As usually so helpful to keep me on the phone for 3 hours as well. Another unsatisfied WestJet customer.

Pretty disappointed with @WestJet lately. As a Platinum member, I’ve had a Rewards review unresolved for months, follow-ups met with template replies/no response, and an APPR clarification ignored. Loyal customers shouldn’t need to escalate publicly for a real response.

cbc.ca/news/gopublic/… We were long time WestJet clients and watched service start going down the tubes when ONEX bought them in 2019. They started doing stuff like this, with it getting to the point where we could not longer trust them to deliver reliably, or with honesty. We have switched to other airlines and cancelled our RBC WestJet Mastercard, as it no longer has any value. @RBC @WestJet

In all our travels, we found @WestJet to be the worst airline. Customer service was horrendous and their overbooking flights are problematic and recurring. We chose not to fly #westjet ever again. What’s the worst airline in your opinion?
