@LoewyLawFirm Abolish TSA DHS was a Republican led overreaction to 9/11 Dems’ position should be that Bush’s War of Terror was a mistake. We should abolish the post 9/11 surveillance state starting (but not ending) with abolishing DHS. Keep your shoes on and carry on.

My answer is we should have almost none and those that we need should be getting entry level money so they move into private sector jobs. They should be like fast food, you work there for a few years then move on

@CCGordon33 @souljagoyteller Also there are advantages to not drawing an American salary for those with a significant amount of student loan debt. If you’re on an income based plan you don’t pay anything if you don’t have any taxable income, and federal loans fall off after 25 years of being in good standing

@CCGordon33 @souljagoyteller I wouldn’t but she could. She works from home. She’s also eligible for Spanish citizenship so we could be in an interesting position where we’re both migrant workers but in different countries but still live together. Globalized workforce go brrrr I guess

You’d have to road trip pretty often and far for it to be worth having a car just for road trips when cheap rentals exist.

@incelsteve @King_Sukunaaa If that funding drops then residency slots drop, which means that medical school class sizes drop, which means that it only becomes more and more competitive. The reasons we aren’t building new medical schools and training more doctors are a result of policy choices.

@incelsteve @King_Sukunaaa If you don’t like that it’s become super competitive, then you’re barking up the wrong tree by blaming the applicants. Almost everything wrong the process in very material terms is downstream of Medicare/Medicaid/VA funding.
