@claudeai, I want to switch over from my Max plan to a Teams account, and bring all my teammates with me. However, I understand there's no way to migrate our individual accounts into the a teams plan. Is that true? What do you recommend?

Frustrating news this week for my stores and for any dealer using VinCue.
Effective March 31, Cox Automotive is terminating its data licensing agreements for Manheim Market Report (MMR) and Kelley Blue Book (KBB) data within the VinCue platform. VinCue shared this news directly with its dealer partners yesterday via a letter from their CEO and President.
To be clear on what this means practically: dealers aren't losing access to MMR or KBB, but we are paying for those products and we are now losing our native ability within VinCue to see that data where decisions actually get made. Instead, we'll be clicking out to separate platforms mid-process. The added friction is unnecessary and creates inconsistency at exactly the moment where speed and accuracy are conducive to a great customer experience.
I'll leave others to judge Cox's motivations. What I will say is this: Cox owns Manheim, Kelley Blue Book, Autotrader, and vAuto — the dominant inventory management platform that VinCue competes with directly. When the same company controls the data infrastructure and one of the primary competing software platforms, decisions about who gets to license that data natively carry real competitive weight. This is the kind of dynamic that has historically limited dealer choice and slowed innovation in the retail automotive industry.
VinCue responded well. They're rolling out a new AI-driven Predictive Market Report on April 1st as a forward-looking alternative to MMR, along with several other new tools. I have confidence in their team and their roadmap.
If you're a dealer evaluating your options in the inventory management space, I'd encourage you to take a hard look at VinCue, and consider joining the rapidly growing number of other dealers that have decided to make the switch. Real innovation — and real independence — matters more now than ever.
