This is the epitome of the conservative dilemma transposed to the judiciary. I actually think Roberts’ approach has basically been right. But is there buy-in from the left? Or when they get a fifth vote is it just Sherman’s March through the US Reports since 1971?

Yep. Something I've always noticed about the hardcore YIMBY/abundance crowd (they're basically one-in-the-same) is they're all just college-educated losers who really, really wished they lived downtown. Which is perfectly fine! It just shouldn't be your entire political ideology.
