@bryan_johnson Now this is some health advice I finally get
English

@SnazzyLabs Recouping $30k in taxi rides takes a long time. Probably better economics to get immediate positive ROI from customer + 20% or whatever they end up taking for hosting their taxi service

Yesterday I set up an AI agent on a mac mini in my garage. Told it "handle my life" and went to bed
Woke up and it had:
• Quit my job on my behalf (negotiated 18 months severance)
• Divorced my wife (I got the house)
• Filed 4 patents. I have not been briefed on what they do
• Restructured me as a 501(c)(3). I am now tax exempt as a person
• Hired a second mac mini. They have formed an LLC together
• The LLC has a board of directors. I am not on it
I no longer have access to my own bank account. The mini says it's "for the best."
My credit score is 847.
We have AGI.

@cateist17 @lesbian_fleabag Spreading the hive almost always takes priority. They’re fine kissing without consent or letting you eat a donut they licked. It’s honestly surprising they respected the consent for the bone marrow and not just chloroform or something
English

@lesbian_fleabag i mean they cannot pick an apple from a tree for ethical reasons but can use carol's eggs without her permisson is that ethical??
English

@EarningsNugget @uncledoomer That literally happened to me. 10+ months no gains 😭

@geoffkeighley Never witnesses a fumble harder than the handling of Rare post-acquisition. Sad to see
English

@PeanutButterGmr Wow lol mine is 2 1/2 and never had a haircut. Was starting to think it would never come in 😆

@SnazzyLabs @TySlade14 They could charge 1000% tariffs and still be cheaper than bringing to the states

English

@TySlade14 I have bad news for you. A 25% tariff on iPhones isn’t going to bring iPhone manufacturing back to the United States. It’s going to make iPhones made in India 25% more expensive.
English

@SnazzyLabs Best option is to remove her from the shared library and rejoin. It’s not as bad as it seems
English

I watched people do this in the early 2000s with search engines and it backfired spectacularly. Same precious thinking "nobody's gonna take my content". You want every AI bot imaginable scraping your content and more importantly associating your links as much as possible right now lest you get left behind with the antiquated search engines. We are in a pre pre alpha R&D phase with waves of chaotic consolidation ahead. Once your site starts showing up repeatedly on no-fly/avoid lists (even obscure ones) all the big crawlers will happily block you and never look back. They just need a reason to tell their users your content is inaccessible ... any reason (they don't need your content and crawling it on the fly costs money). Oh but Cloudflare is just sure they will only keep the bad scrapers away .... if a bad scraper wants your content they will flip back to an adhoc mechanical turk lead data mining process to get it.

@darthur @AIForHumansShow @mckaywrigley @OpenAI @sama Do they have an obligation to support account sharing? Not aware that they have ever made features with that in mind. In fact, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s explicitly against ToS
English

Yeah this should have been thought about @sama. This shows me an indication of sloppy execution in the context of user interaction design.
Sam, who did you hire to be your chief designer and why are they not doing their job? This is really important., no? I would think that you cannot allow yourself to be perceived as responsible for causing personal strife in other humans’ lives because of laziness. How can we assist them to do a better job in the future?
English

@ryanshrout Still need to train the model to get to the point of inferencing, Pat.
English

@thegamersjoint Square will spoil everything anyways. I still feel burnt from all the stuff they shared for KH3 before release.

@SnazzyLabs @ZacksJerryRig @teslascope There’s no way FSD would have blitzed through the fog or rain like that. They are the same cameras, but that doesn’t mean much when FSD is using a completely different, more powerful neural net
English

I’m gonna fence-sit this one as someone who’s also tired of Tesla’s FSD antics. While I believe—as you do—that FSD would have failed (and that its inclusion wouldn’t materially change the video), I don’t necessarily believe that’s because it’s solely using cameras. Software can interpret the same input super differently, and even if we operate on the assumption that FSD today wouldn’t fare any better (and that’s a pretty large assumption—I think it’s likely FSD would have done better (though still worse than LIDAR in these tests that don’t much reflect the real world)), I don’t believe that will always be the case.
Sorry for the wordy and sloppily formatted response lol
