There’s a system where everyone had this sort of expectation setting that was made: everyone gets a home. That’s the American Dream. Everyone goes to college and then they get a job. Some of those things may not necessarily be the right things from a free market perspective. In which case you’re making these promises and people feel like the promises aren’t being delivered, they’re not being met, and that’s all they care about and all that they want. In the West, we have that problem right now. And so there are a lot of these things that we’ve set expectations around. If you go to college, you get a good degree. No matter how much it costs, you will have a good job and you’ll be able to buy a home and live a good life. And that’s not true anymore. Although we don’t yet have the details about the motives behind last night's shooting at the White House Correspondents Dinner, it’s incumbent upon all us to reject the idea that violence has any place in our democracy. $HOOD idea » Add a “Trends” tab under the search bar within the existing tabs section:
It would display the most search stocks being searched by Robinhood customers and serve as a “what’s trending” hub for that day. This would help users better understand the wisdom of the crowd by seeing what people are searching for and interested in.

$HOOD bears keep pointing at crypto volume softness going into Q1 earnings... They're looking at the wrong metric. ARPU expanded from $104 to $191 in two years. That's not trading activity instead its take rate expansion across banking, gold subscriptions, prediction markets, and retirement. The platform is monetizing the same user base at 2x. AUC sits at 324 billion dollars. Schwab's average customer holds $250,000. Robinhood's holds $12,000, but their median user is 32. The gap is just time. $84 trillion transfers from Boomers to Millennials and Gen Z over the next decade. Robinhood is the primary financial relationship for that entire cohort. People are comparing this to a trading app. The right comp is early Schwab.
