My beloved mobile charger that came with my Cybertruck doesn’t seem to be working anymore. It flashes a little bit of red when you first plug it in, then it goes away. When you try to charge a Tesla it gives an error “charging equipment not recognized.” This happens with multiple Teslas and it happens with both the 14-50 and 5-15 adapters. Tesla Wall Connector charges just fine so it seems to be the mobile connector itself specifically. Is there a reset switch on this thing somewhere? Or I likely need to get a replacement? At almost two years old am I covered for a replacement or do I need to buy a new one? Help @grok

@TesLatino @wholemars I think they need to have 2- supervised and non. Non has a subscription that pays for tesla insurance- because they will be on the hook if the car is driving itself with no one at the wheel. The supervised is included and similar to current fsd

FSD should be included in all the cars. Adjust the price if you must and simplify, while making everyone safer. Not only those with additional cash or willing to spend more. It’s so simple. The arguments to justify charging for it separately has always contradicted the safety philosophy. Just as there are no additional charges for all the improvements to make airbags and automatic braking better, when a collision is imminent.

Tesla NEEDS to do a free version of FSD Delivering cars with just TACC is a fucked up situation Please Tesla, this will supercharge adoption. It’s not for me, i’m a paid FSD user. But we need to hook the users who don’t want to or can’t pay.

Story time: 27 years ago today I was about to turn 20 years old, beer in hand, fresh from graduating Ranger School, living my best life on River Street in Savannah, GA on St. Patty’s Day Eve. A Savannah PD foot patrol came by and asked me for my ID and that was the end of my festivities for the evening. Good ole underage drinking. I was detained, transferred to MPs, and transported to Hunter Army Airfield. I sat in a chair with flex cuffs on waiting to be picked up by someone from my unit. It was around 11pm. “Lucky” for me, my squad leader was on staff duty and he didn’t come pick me up until 0530. I had to immediately shave/change so I could get on the bus to head to Forsyth Park to take part in the St. Patrick’s Day parade with the rest of the battalion. A few weeks later my platoon sergeant pulled me aside and told me that I was going to get an Article 15 because they wanted to make an example of me. Hellyea, good times. I got 14 days of extra duty and 14 days of restriction. We were going to the field for like 10 days anyway, so no big deal. It actually worked though. I didn’t drink again until my 21st birthday. Just spent the weekends being the designated driver and drunk Ranger babysitter. If you read all this, I appreciate you. If you didn’t, you are probably also the type that doesn’t close their ejection port cover.

Oh, sure. Let me first find a machine gun manufactured before 1986 actually for sale, mortgage my house to pay for it, get fingerprinted, pass the background check after cooling my heels for the 18 month wait, pay the $200 tax stamp, and hit up my local FFL to pick it up. That's SO MUCH EASIER than grabbing my birth certificate and marriage license and toddling down to the voter registrar.

@Stubbs_GunGuy Only problem is they dont enforce the laws when a nics check shows a felon- they just deny it although the felony just committed a felony. Imo proof this isn't about punishing bad people. Ask any ffl how many arrests due to a denied NICS. 🤔

I can not stress enough how much better society would be if people were required to pass a background check and fill out a form 4473 to vote , in person, no mail, and with the threat of arrest if a prohibited person attempts to obtain a vote several times. We can add stupid shit parallel to gun laws too. If you are morbidly obese or possess certain colors or features your vote is a dangerous assault vote and requires a two month wait and $200 tax stamp. You will have to present this paperwork even if legally voting or be detained until it is provided. Each individual state can just outlaw certain categories of voting. West Virginia just fucking secedes.

@SSN_685 With all the reading I've done about pearl this one that I've never seen or heard before. The sad part is that Utah doesn't get as much attention as the Arizona. Those 58 souls deserve it just as much.

Did you know that there is a baby entombed on the USS Utah in Pearl Harbor? USS Utah is on the north side of Ford Island and doesn’t attract as many visitors as its fellow memorial, the USS Arizona, on the other side. The Utah was torpedoed and capsized on December 7 with the loss of 58 souls. Also on board is Nancy Lynn Wagner, who has been born August 29, 1937. Little Nancy lived for only two days and was cremated. When her father, Yeoman Chief Albert Wagner was assigned to the Utah, he obtained permission and had planned on burying his daughter’s ashes at sea; they were brought on board. Unfortunately, the Japanese changed the plans. Nancy’s urn remained on board after the attack. Divers did attempt to recover it, but they were unsuccessful in gaining access to the compartment due to damage. To this day, the urn and ashes of baby Nancy are still entombed along with the remains of the 58 men lost on the USS Utah who are considered her guardians.

@rhensing I went to college and the Army paid for it- I absolutely wanted to serve- and over 28 years later im still serving. Definitely didn't do it for the money. God Family and country!

My family is far from poor. My youngest son is 20 years old and drives a Model 3 that he worked to pay for himself in his teens. He had no desire to waste money on college. He likes learning useful skills on the job. He started listening to special operator podcasts, pushed himself physically to run a marathon months later and he has enlisted in the Army to become an EW specialist. He ACTUALLY wants to serve. And I’m super proud of him. 🇺🇸💪🫡
