Look, Harrison Ford is always watchable, but Alec Baldwin was electric in this film, as was pretty much the whole cast. The script was perfect. Connery at his finest. And the direction brought you into the uncertainty and claustrophobia inside the submarines.

Peggy Noonan wrote movingly about the Civil Rights movement in the Sat/Sun edition of the Wall St Journal. I'm disappointed that more people are not recalling this world-historical example of disciplined protest.
