🚨 MADELEINE MCCANN PROBE CRIPPLED BUDGET SLASHED BY A FIFTH AS SEARCH ENTERS 15TH YEAR! Met Police Operation Grange funding cut to just £86,000 for 2026/27, a savage 20% drop from £108k, pushing the total taxpayer bill to a staggering £13.3 MILLION since 2011. Tiny team of just THREE part-time officers continues reviewing files and chasing leads with Portuguese and German cops. Prime suspect Christian Brueckner still walks free despite German police believing he murdered 3-year-old Maddie in 2007. Fifteen years now and many are calling it to end and the money being spent elsewhere.

Here’s a photo of my grandad (in the middle) from the late 1940s. He was the “Son” in H.Forman & Son. And here he is having a break with his salmon curing team. Does anyone recognise any of the others?

@JamesMelville You mean like most of the free world? Give Pakistan back to India, where 8 million people were displaced. Or is it just the Jewish state that gives you a conscience?

I’ve just watched Palestine 36: So many people need a history lesson. October 7th wasn’t the start. It goes back a long long way. Imagine being a citizen to a place that lost status, sovereignty, human rights, freedom and land. And then for decades got hemmed in, encroached, destroyed and an appropriation of the land unchecked. Destinies of people who have lived there for generations completely torn up. Grief turns into rage. It would anywhere. But apparently it’s “antisemitic” to raise any concerns about this.

@JamesMelville Let’s go right back then to the kingdom of Judea when Jews ruled the land and 700 years before anyone had come up with Islam You wanna go back? So let’s go back properly. No Palestinian state has EVER existed on this land. The kingdom of Israel has! Destinies of people!!

At a time when so many supporters are struggling to heat their homes, put food on the table and keep up with the rent, the club I love has made a shameful decision to hike ticket prices over the next three years. It’s staggering. It’s tone deaf from the billionaires who run our club in Boston. The very people who play a huge part of making this club what it is, the famous 12th man, the beating heart of Liverpool are being priced out and pushed aside, all while their loyalty is used to sell ‘Brand Liverpool’ across the world. LIverpool Football Club stripped of its working class support base is where this ends. This greed from football clubs poses an existential threat to the game and the community that made the club what it is today. #StopExploitingLoyalty #FootballWithoutFansIsNothing

Liverpool FC can confirm it will increase general admission ticket prices limited to inflation for the next three seasons, while freezing junior and local general tickets at £9 each. 🔗 lfc.tv/4t9lOKn

@DrChrisParry Russia was wrong to invade Ukraine, but it's amazing how many people are ignorant to why. The Ukraine crises & The Ukrainian crises started in 1991. Wider & Greater Europe and the roles of the EU & US are a serious reason as to why we are where we are. Read "Frontline Ukraine

Israel performed the ultimate sacrifice and the most painful concession in modern history for the dream of peace. We surrendered the Sinai Peninsula - a massive territory of 60,000 square kilometers, an area three times the size of the entire State of Israel. This was not empty land. It was essential strategic depth that granted us security and early warning. We handed over to Egypt strategic oil fields we developed with our own hands, which could have guaranteed energy independence for generations. We surrendered advanced, massive air force bases vital to our aerial dominance in the region. But the most searing pain was the human sacrifice. For this agreement, we uprooted thousands of Jewish pioneers from their homes in the Yamit region and south Sinai. Flourishing towns, thriving agriculture, and entire communities were destroyed to the ground and handed over. We sacrificed parts of our homeland and real lives for a signature on a piece of paper. No nation in the world has ever made such a vast sacrifice, yielded assets so vital, and uprooted its own citizens for a promise of peace. History proves that in the Middle East, land is security. Painful concessions do not bring true peace; they only bring the next threat closer. We must learn from this lesson: the Land of Israel belongs to the People of Israel, and defending it requires holding every inch.

25 years ago today, March 26, 2001, a Palestinian sniper deliberately put a baby in his crosshairs and pulled the trigger. Ten-month-old Shalhevet Pass was in her stroller near a public playground when the sniper’s bullet struck her tiny head, killing her instantly. When her father, Yitzhak, tried to shield his daughter's body, the sniper fired two more times and wounded him in both legs. This terrorist specifically chose a Jewish infant as his target. This was pure, premeditated brutality - the kind Palestinian terrorists have shown again and again by targeting children and even babies in strollers, playgrounds, and bedrooms. It wasn’t collateral damage. It was the point. The timing made it even more grotesque. Just months earlier, at Camp David, Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak offered Yasser Arafat a Palestinian state with a capital in East Jerusalem; Arafat walked away without a counteroffer, ignited the Second Intifada, and unleashed a wave of terror that included this monstrous act. The murder of Shalhevet Pass shook Israeli society to its core. An innocent baby in diapers, executed in broad daylight in front of her parents. Memorial candles blanketed the neighborhood. Her mother clung to her daughter’s lifeless body for hours. Making matters even worse, the killer was Mahmud Amru, a member of Tanzim - the armed militia that reports directly to Fatah, the party founded by Arafat and still led today by Mahmoud Abbas. This wasn’t Hamas. This was the “moderate” Palestinian leadership’s own terrorist arm. And here’s the part that exposes the moral rot at the heart of the Palestinian Authority: under its official “pay for slay” policy, the PA has funneled hundreds of thousands of dollars — likely half a million or more over two decades — in monthly salaries and benefits to Amru for murdering a Jewish baby. The more Jews you kill, the bigger the reward. It’s not welfare. It’s blood money, paid straight from the PA budget, incentivizing exactly this kind of savagery. Shalhevet Pass was not a “settler” or a “soldier.” She was a baby. Her only “crime” was being Jewish in the Jewish homeland. Twenty-five years later, the same PA that glorifies her murderer still runs the same system, still funds the same hatred, and still pretends to want peace.

President Trump has called the British aircraft carriers "toys". He's wrong. They are certainly not "toys". Carriers are difficult to compare. The Royal Navy's Queen Elizabeth class carriers are smaller than the US Nimitz class ships but are significantly more capable than the US America class ships. In sortie generation rates (SGR - number of launches per day), the Nimitz class is at around 120, the QEII class around 72, the America class around 40, and China's Fujian around 100. The Royal Navy's problem is not it's carriers, it is the appalling lack of investment made into the rest of the Fleet. The RN has some of the best kit in the world, but one ship can only be in one place at one time. Why did Trump make such an inaccurate and insultingly derogatory comment? I can only guess that he a) wanted to embarrass Keir Starmer into investing more in the UK's armed forces and b) wrongly let his petulance at the UK's hesitancy to get involved in the Iran war get the better of him. What's embarrassed our country in his eyes, and in the eyes of the world, is not that the government chose not to participate in strikes against Iran, but that the appalling condition of our armed forces, their shocking neglect by successive governments, and the timidity of our politicians in acting pro-actively to defend our interests and support those of our allies, were laid bare. Below: HMS Prince of Wales, USS Nimitz and US America class and a comparison of the three classes in one photo.
