@AutoTrendzUg That's wrong. First of all the most reliable long lasting Mercedes cars in African market are • W205 C200 • W212 E300 I have both cars, they all have zero issues.. Secondly, in east Africa, we can't afford UK cars, we ALWAYS import cars from Japan, even luxury ones.. So...

Because the market that prices them cheap already knows something you don’t… This C200 depreciates fast in Europe the moment its out of warranty, the repair conversations start, Timing chain issues, Cooling system faults, Electrical problems that only a specialist can fix. The white man being smart, he runs the numbers, sees he is now sitting on a money pit and decides to sell at a loss. Then our dealers buy them in bulk and ship them down to our market where the mighty badge carries prestige and the actual cost of ownership is the part nobody here studies before they buy…

Why are these mercedes benz C200 cars many on market and why are they so cheaps?🤔

Fear has never ruled or governed humanity. Creating fear is very temporal and a sedative measure. The real problem will show up no matter how long . If whole lawyer and Lord Mayor can be treated this way what about Joseph Kony or Jamil Mukulu? @mkainerugaba

@acholiglo But the meat that’s confused is actually not from hunting! It’s from ranches that are private , take care of the animals specifically for meat production

That game hunting is regulated by UWA doesn’t make it ethical or fair. It’s worth asking why communities have been stripped of their traditional hunting rights yet the colonial version of the same practice remains more acceptable and legitimate. Hypocritical conservation

We can’t be talking about conservation while at the same time promoting restaurants like @the_lawns that openly sell bush meat. We often complain about declining wildlife populations and reduced animal numbers around our protected areas, yet we rarely ask the hard question: where is all this bush meat coming from? The reality is that every plate of bush meat creates demand, and that demand fuels poaching. While conservation efforts focus on protecting wildlife inside national parks, illegal hunting continues outside and around these protected areas, threatening species that are already under pressure. If Uganda is serious about conservation, then the conversation must go beyond protecting animals in parks. We must also address the markets, restaurants, and supply chains that encourage the illegal wildlife trade. Conservation is not only about protecting wildlife; it is also about reducing the demand that puts wildlife at risk in the first place. Without tackling both sides of the problem, the rate of poaching will continue to undermine the gains made by conservation agencies and communities. I am definitely challenged by how @the_lawns is operating

@kat_festo @Uganda_Expozed I think guy is not so exposed to be honest. Ranches produce tonnes of meat 🥩 in Southern Africa that’s exported throughout the world for consumption. Infact this is good for conservation

My apologies if I come-off to be going on this harder but... @Uganda_Expozed, you should know It’s a UWA-licensed facility operating 100% legally. They import certified game meat from regulated sources (or source from licensed local operators). You, too can apply for the exact same license and run your own spot instead of farming outrage. But let’s talk real hypocrisy, bro, while you’re busy virtue-signaling about one restaurant’s legal plates, the cars you hire out are belching exhaust into the atmosphere every single day. Funny how no climate activists have shown up at your door demanding you switch to electric or stop promoting fossil-fuel tourism. Yet legal, permitted game meat? Suddenly, it’s the end of wildlife as we know it. You’re not a bigger conservationist than the actual authorities. UWA permits the sale of game meat (with proper licensing and traceability) because regulated, sustainable offtake creates economic value for wildlife, funds protection, and reduces pressure on wild populations, exactly like successful models in southern Africa. Your endless clickbaits pretending otherwise just expose how little research went into this one. Channel that boundless enthusiasm into actually educating yourself on game ranching instead of posting photos for engagement. Or better yet, go get the license and put your money where your keyboard is.

@walugembec @SimonKaggwaNjal @MoWT_Uganda @PoliceUg The northern bypass is not closed, it only converges to 1 lane. I don't support road closures, especially endless poor quality roadworks, as always is the case. But at some point maintenance has to be done, this is when drivers need to use intelligence and not create 5 lanes.

It is profoundly heartbreaking to witness another surge of xenophobic violence in #SouthAfrica this week. Hundreds have marched on Parliament, thousands of families have been displaced, and lives have been tragically cut short. These include at least five Ethiopians killed earlier in the attacks, and five Mozambicans who died in Mossel Bay. Thousands more are now fleeing for their lives. To see South Africa turn to xenophobia is a tragic betrayal of the country's struggle for independence and freedom. African nations stood united to dismantle apartheid. Ethiopia proudly supported "Madiba," Nelson Mandela, in 1962 and issued him a passport so he could travel the continent. Other countries helped in many ways, including with political and financial support. Disagreements and grievances must be addressed by the justice system and the rule of law, never through vigilante violence and collective punishment. South Africa deserves better. Africa deserves better. Stop the hate. Protect the vulnerable. Uphold our shared humanity.

When hotels openly market wildlife meat, the public receives a mixed message. We encourage conservation, invest millions in protecting wildlife, and promote Uganda as a wildlife destination, yet at the same time normalize the consumption of wild animals. Whether legal or not, this raises important questions about conservation ethics, public perception, and the long-term message we are sending about the value of our wildlife. What hurts me is even open serving it labeled Uganda kob @ugwildlife @Parliament_Ug @KabbyangaB @CanaryMugume @KwikirizaNova @StateHouseUg @francisnyende @NinyeTabz

@SimonKaggwaNjal @MoWT_Uganda @PoliceUg Unfortunately many drivers exacerbate the hold up. Why create 5 lanes yet the road converges to 1 lane ahead? If such low IQ lunatics followed proper lanes, this will help everyone, traffic would move faster. The truth is there is low intelligence rife in Ugandan's minds.
