I said back when it became obvious that DeSantis was the guy to follow that if the Republican Governors Assoc. would band together and follow DeSantis's lead that DC wouldn't even be a blip on the radar. Unfortunately, we have too many politicians in both parties that are addicted to losing.

DeSantis is a gift to Republicans. He structured a plan that used every lever of power that was workable to make Florida more free and more conservative than any other state - then he had the balls to see it through. I wish he could coach every other Republican governor.

From a legislative perspective, there's just no comparison. Its hard to even find historical comparisons that match the absolute success that DeSantis has achieved in Florida.

DeSantis, being so knowledgeable about the law and the likely outcome by SCOTUS, planned this out perfectly. If there’s any doubt that he would be an infinitely better and more effective president than our current one, this should erase it.
Imagine the huge victories the right would have had if the person in the WH had his level of understanding of the law.

There is alot more to this story than meets the eye. I have heard from a GOP source with excellent knowledge of the state of play at the high reaches of the party that the idea of Don Jr going for the nomination over Vance or Rubio is not some far fetched development. What I was told, and I quote, was "Trump has liked Rubio better than Vance for a while. But Rubio and Vance could split the non-Trump vote while Don Jr takes the hard core vote and this means the nomination. Would be pretty appealing to DT" Just watch Don Jr closely over the coming months....

He overcame the bias with hard work and graduated from Harvard law carrying the scalps of innumerable limousine liberals on the way out. Ron DeSantis showed up to the Florida’s governor’s mansion as a guy who barely squeaked by a weak Dem opponent and was largely seen as a mere congressman riding on Trump’s coattails. Democrats laughed at him, and he proceeded to decimate their power in Florida through a combination of ruthless administrative competence, unprecedented Republican voter registration initiatives and a steady stream of legislation to capitalize on his majority in the Legislature. He won reelection by 20pts, taking former Democrat strongholds like Miami-Dade and outperforming Trump’s presidential margins along the way. He’ll be leaving office with enough Democrat scalps to fill a couple U-Hauls. Who cares if he’s not a stand-up comedian. Elect the man president already.

Crowell, TX is getting a Data Center dropped on them, it’s a tiny town with about 800 people. They have a lawyer who grew up there helping them. On her Facebook I saw this exchange ..this is the photo he posted and said he is 3.2 miles are and this is his sky at night now
