Credit to Farley for being open about this. I can’t think of another legacy automotive CEO that comes close. He has 122 years of habit, mindset and prejudice to change, and shareholders expecting profit every quarter. Killing the F150 because it’s fundamentally flawed (from a commercial perspective only) is brave.

Wrap reveal of our Cybertruck! We worked with the @diywrapclub on their custom wrap program and then put their precut mate PPF on top to keep it looking great. So happy with how this turned out and install was a breeze.

@teslaflexx @crz410s The MyQ integration also doesn’t work with (MyQ enabled!) gates. Plus the app is just annoying, I don’t need ads for crappy cameras every time I open it.

And there’s the issue. Ryanair, famously, doesn’t care about ‘experience’. That’s not a dig, it’s their business model. No flight offers power outlets, yet alone WiFi. They get you from A to B for cheap. That’s it. And they’re the most profitable airline in Europe, so they’re no Spirit.

Starlink Aircraft Terminals only impact fuel usage by 0.3%. It’s literally a no brainer, every airline should be using Starlink. The in-flight experience is honestly incredible

A 2% fuel impact might be true for legacy terminals, but @Starlink's terminal is much lower profile and more efficient.  Our analysis shows that the fuel increase to a 737-800 (which burns 800 gallons/hour) with our current design is about 0.3%.   Also beg to differ on whether passengers want great WIFI in flight 😊

NEWS: Ryanair says it will not install Starlink on its airplanes, citing ‌the impact of fuel costs from drag and the short length ⁠of its ‌flights. "It comes with a 2% fuel ⁠penalty because of ​the weight and ​drag. We don't think ‍our ⁠passengers are willing to pay for WiFi for an average ⁠1-hour flight."

World's most useful rearview camera. 1h15m into my trip, I lost rear visibility. The fender cameras are also pretty occuluded, but FSD still works. Thankfully I'm not enough of an idiot to remove my mirrors, so I can still see behind. Hopefully Gen2 @cybertruck fixes this.

This isn’t something to celebrate. Love it or not, the Lightning was a decent truck, and if Ford can’t make it work (arguably the most forward-looking legacy automaker) then likely none can, aside from pure EV companies like Rivian and Tesla. RAM killed theirs. Cybertruck and R1T are not mass-market in the world of trucks, and losing the Lightning as competition is unlikely to do much to increase those sales.

We’re starting to roll out direct integration with @Tesla vehicles, removing the need for a UBI device in our Pay Per Mile product. This makes activating Lemonade Car on Teslas effortless and lets us cut hardware and shipping costs, helping lower prices for Tesla drivers even further. Tesla's API also provides richer and more accurate driving behavior data than traditional UBI devices, enabling us to offer better rewards and discounts for safe driving and FSD usage.

Tesla’s new Self-Driving stats page in V14.2 sort of gamifies FSD a little bit because it makes me want to hit a 100% Self-Driving percentage. It’s killing me being at 99% lol. I’m sure others on V14 feel the same, which will likely increase how often FSD is used overall. Now we just need leaderboards!
