@vetororian9 @WhosFibbing I think it's pretty much the norm. If we have work on weekends or public holidays, we don't bring in staff unless we absolutely have to.

@TridentsNot It turns out that Albo was a bit tied up with Easter Sunday Mass at the time. However, when Albo posted around 10am, Ryan was one of the first to put the boot in.

#BREAKING Its 8:30am in the morning and there is still no Easter Sunday message from Anthony Albanese. If it was any other religion, he would be in their place of worship posting relentlessly. It’s obvious now.

@Freeeemasonry @suse5959 That's the third party view I have been hearing. However, I do doubt that the US election will be won/lost on the basis of support for Israel.

@suse5959 @AngieCrid AND Let's be very frank about this, the 2028 US election will come down to who expresses the most willingness to decoupled from Israel. I'm really worried that the Republicans will just embrace the anti-semetism route and win bc the Dems/Israel conflating jews and zionism

Can I get a confirmation here? Is this the account of Newsoms staff who do the whole "tweeting like Trump" gimmick or a completely different one?

So let me get this straight… Young women are told that they should get a Pap smear test every three years to “prevent cervical cancer” but the brushes used for the test to sweep the cervix are coated in a cancer-causing chemical called ethylene oxide. It almost seems like they want women to get cancer.

@Ryandally08 @AlboMP You're a grub. Bitching about no Easter Sunday post, just to finally find it to do more bitching and whinging.

@AngieCrid @aaronsmith @Brad_OneNation @Peter_Fitz Yea but why pay $172m for a battery to regulate frequency control when the inertia of large rotating traditional style generators has always done that just fine? If the role of it is frequency control and not just raw volume of stored energy, why bother with battery at all?

Hello? The 500 K Australians who will have home batteries by the end of this year, call off the jam. Mark says they won't work and you've all been had. And look, he has TWO flags, and is not afraid to use them!
🇦🇺Mark Wanless🇦🇺@MarkWanless3

@Peter_Fitz Sorry, battery storage is prohibitively expensive and just won't work in the real world ....

@Daniel5_27 @aaronsmith @Brad_OneNation @Peter_Fitz There is a very good reason. As already suggested, research and learn. The HPR's role is frequency control, grid security, and renewable energy storage. It stabilises the grid to prevent blackouts, and actually reduces cost to the consumer.

@AngieCrid @aaronsmith @Brad_OneNation @Peter_Fitz So my point is that the batteries we make will never be able to take 100% of demand. This means we must always ALSO maintain gas power as a backup. Why would we pay for two systems to maintain, when we could just skip renewables and have gas?
