@AzoffBrendan They are not NHL caliber players at this point. Perrault maybe, but Berard and othmann are AHL fodder. The rangers are 4 points out of a playoff spot with 60 games to go. You play the players that give you the best chance to win… period.

@EthanZaretsky Agreed not a good record to break. The problem isn't rempe, it's vakk, parss, and raddysh being useless cap space when we have young kids to play top 9 roles (GP, Othamn, Berard) and morrow on D.

@NYRLocks @rangermani28591 @NYRLouie Berard isn't a 4th line player get him and gabe on the third line with laba. Raddysh and sheary have no place on the team. 4th line is fine the way it is

3 things I would if I was Mike Sullivan before Game 2: -Scratch Matt Rempe and Sam Carrick: There like got outshot 6-1 in just 7:15 of total ice time. Spend 75% of their time in NYR zone -Call up Brett Berard - you need more speed in the lineup. You need more forecheckers in the lineup. You need more an offensive ceiling in bottom 6. Berard provides all of that. Put him with Sheary and Laba as a pesky, sneaky 3rd line -Play Juuso Parssinen on 4th line with Raddysh and Edstrom. 3 players with size, forechecking, solid defensive metrics and can drive play a bit. It’ll be boring but they won’t get outshot 6-1 #NYR

@NYRLouie The game chart showed rempe didn't have a bad game and raddysh shouldn't be in the lineup at all. If the top 6 can't score that's an issue not the 4th line. Berard laba and Perrault is the third line we should have. Everything else stays the same and we are fine

@StatBoy_Steven Need to fix third line. Keep laba and have Berard/ Othman and Perrault on the wing. Even pars if still want to keep one of kids down for now. Need more scoring from third line. Sheary and raddysh don't need to be on the lineup at all

@simpledesign17 @BaldPanarin Not true on both parts. There is data that shows that and just by watching you would be able to see. And second rempe is not very bad he's 23 has a lot of upside, needs to be smarter but his forecheck, physicality and board presence along with speed is one of best on the team

@AnthonyCurranJr @BaldPanarin There's obviously no data to support they were even a good line. But my argument wasn't that Brodz is good, but Rempe is very bad.

Exactly 3 weeks from game no. 1, here's my hope for the #NYR opening night forward core: Cuylle - Miller - Mika Panarin - Trocheck - Laf Othmann - Parssinen - Raddysh Edström - Carrick - Rempe Brodz (Would love for Berard here, but that's only if they run a 23-man roster imo)
