There's no way Maine would elect an actual Nazi as Senator, right?

Last night, Israeli forces intercepted and boarded a humanitarian aid flotilla bound for Gaza in international waters off the coast of Greece — unlawfully detaining more than 175 people, including several New Yorkers. My team has been in direct contact with State and Federal partners as we work to confirm the whereabouts and conditions of these New Yorkers. This is a brazen violation of international law. Those detained must be released.

🔴 @Delta is cutting in-flight service on 450 daily flights starting May 19, and frequent flyers are NOT happy about it. From that date, any flight under 350 miles in economy will get zero service. Nothing. Not even water. That covers a lot of routes people fly every single week for work. The old system had an express service on flights of 251 to 499 miles, which was coffee, tea, or water. That is now gone entirely for shorter hops. Now, to be fair, there is a flip side. Around 600 daily flights in the 350 to 499 mile range are actually getting upgraded from express to full beverage service. So more people overall will get a proper drink cart. First class keeps full service across the board regardless of distance. #Delta #DeltaAirLines #Aviation

NEW: Maine Senator Susan Collins’ odds to win re-election for her 6th term have improved to 32% from a low of 27% 10 days ago

I am worried that Platner and El-Sayed could cost Dems the senate.

Semafor: Republicans plan “all-out assault” on Platner’s candidacy in Maine “Janet Mills, Maine’s Democratic governor, didn’t have the money to fully prosecute her case against Graham Platner in the state’s Senate race. Republicans do — and it’s going to get ugly, fast.” “Senate Republicans’ primary super PAC, the Senate Leadership Fund, has reserved $42 million in fall ads. A sister nonprofit group, One Nation, is running a suite of ads now totaling $18 million.” semafor.com/article/04/30/…

new - Bernie Sanders helped get Platner through, but he ain't done yet. He's going to Minnesota and Michigan this wkend to campaign for Flanagan and El-Sayed. Sanders said in interview his campaign endorsements are “not a question" of taking on Chuck Schumer and his picks. “It’s a question of establishment folks who work with the moneyed interests in status quo politics versus those of us who stand with working families and understand the status quo is not working" “Platner is somebody who’s standing up to big money and fighting for the working class. And I think, in Maine and all over this country, that is a force that is not going to be defeated" Some Dems see a double standard as Sanders and others urge Dem leadership to stay out of primaries: “Rules for me and not for thee. No one can shape primaries, unless it’s me and the way I want them to be shaped"

Are YOU Prepared for the Fetterman Contingency? JVL posits that the Democrats actually need to pick up 5 Senate seats bc Fetterman could flip and keep Thune in power if its only 4. thebulwark.com/p/are-you-prep…

Graham Platner isn’t just our best and only chance to beat Susan Collins, he’s a good, decent man who’s struggled and grown and is always trying to do better. I hope everyone with reservations takes a little time to get to know the real life version of him, not what the algorithm throws in our faces. Clearly, that’s what so many people in Maine have done - from all different walks of life and political persuasions.
