Triple H claims he was the one behind the infamous Montreal Screwjob "Vince had come to us and said, Bret is not resigning and he won't drop the title to Shawn... the conversation was basically, here's what he's willing to do and it's gonna kill business" "There was just a silence and nobody knew what to say. I was probably the least important person on the totem pole at that time, but I was like, 'I gotta say it.' I was like, 'fuck that, like if he won't do business, do it for him.'" "That started a conversation that led to the Montreal Screwjob"

lets break this down pice by piece: advertising...thats the angle we are doing now...LOL come on. If you think for ONE SECOND that "the averaged person" cared about the advertisments...LOL you have your head DEEP in the sand. "the average person who knew about the show" 100% knows derrick Lewis, michael chandler, Bo Knickel, etc. that satement is flat out 100% incorrect lol. Incredible. again "it was the ultimate gimmick show" is just subjective opinion, and does't defeat a SINGLE THING I just said about the card, fights, military, etc. "the entire promotion was based around the white house" ...right...except the incredible night of fights, the military band was blew the roof off the place, the 80,000 fans at the elyips, (i can keep going). "if it was just those 2 fights" - you're attempting to hypothetically marginalize something that you're WAY off base on. IT WASN'T just those 2 fights. as far as "only us 2 would be talking about it" - I'm gonna counter your obsurdity with more obsurdity: "If pigs could fly, nobody would have cared about those 2 fights"... see, dumb thing to say. I respect your job, but JUST do it and miss us with subjective opinions...Media is at an all time low of 37% trust amongst the consumer...THIS is why. Give us the OBJECTIVE facts, not the SUBJECTIVE opinion.

2x in the U.S, not 6x. 4x worldwide, but both shows were primarily U.S. audiences. Agree on retention rates for gimmicks being low, BUT UFC 250 was the ultimate gimmick show. The show was not promoted by the fights, it was promoted based on the location. The show you said was a gimmick show was actually promoted based largely on one fight. Neither model is sustainable at that level and both were curiosity draws, not sports related draws.

So instead the gimmick fight with less than 10 percent of the promotion and hype outdrew them.

Today, on my final day as Director of National Intelligence, I’m releasing never-before-seen communications and documents exposing how Dr. Fauci provided millions in US taxpayer dollars to fund dangerous gain-of-function research at the Wuhan lab, worked with politicized elements within the Intelligence Community to suppress the truth about his actions and hide the virus’ lab-leak origins, and lied to Congress while under oath in 2024. It’s time you know the truth. odni.gov/index.php/news…
