@CFCBlueDog @matthewburchell @British_Airways Sometimes it takes bringing the problem to social media to receive a response. I know, I did it myself with a high street store. I received my refund within days of that post which had taken over 6 weeks of whataboutery and being ignored prior. So yes, it works.

A valid point. The challenge, though, is that all the "evidence" a pro-NASA person brings to the debate is provided almost entirely by NASA itself, which has never acted with honesty or good faith. I don't think the Earth is flat, but I don't believe a damn thing NASA says, either.

There is a reason people do not debate Flat Earthers or Moon landing deniers. It is not because the evidence is weak. It is because the conversation is rigged from the start. You can bring measurements, physics, engineering, independent tracking, international verification, and experiments they can do in their own backyard, and none of it matters. The moment the facts show up, they shout fake, edited, CGI, conspiracy, or “that’s just your belief.” You cannot debate someone who treats every piece of evidence as invalid by default. You cannot debate someone who demands proof and then rejects the proof the second it appears. You cannot debate someone who thinks their personal disbelief outranks measurable reality. A debate requires both sides to accept evidence. Flat Earth and Moon landing denial collapse the moment evidence enters the room, so the only move left is to deny the room exists. That is why people do not debate them. Not because the globe is fragile, but because the argument they bring is. You cannot have a real discussion with someone who decided ahead of time that nothing you show them will ever count.

Plenty of Earls Court talk or stadium talk once again. Timely reminder to buy a share of Chelsea @pitchowners to protect Stamford Bridge. It’s important us supporters have some sort of a say in the future of this club especially when no other PL club has this opportunity.

In fact, many who aspire to be like us have or are doing it. Maybe our owners know something the rest of football doesn't 🤔

Only Charlton went 'home' after so long away. Plus would we get a temp ground for long enough? What if we're 'sold' mid build? Be happy with stand tweaks tbh.

@Shedintears @CFCDaily @pitchowners I agree completely. No land means stay put. Given that, as fans, we know almost nothing factual about the stadium options I'd prefer a new stadium on our doorstep rather than a redevelopment of SB which sees us playing a long way away for many years!

Abramovich had people working on it, looking at various places (inc roof of Waterloo Stn!) & they couldnt find a viable site.
