@Eliseevanews Except here we have a young woman who can eat what she wants and still be the best in the world. Jealousy is a bad look on anyone!

Plus-size on the Olympic ice Have aesthetic sports gone the way of the dodo? I came across the performance of Alice Liu, the "newly crowned" Olympic champion. It was terrifying, honestly. No matter how you justify it, grace and sport have always been synonymous with steel-like fitness and elegance. What we saw from Liu's performance wasn't even figure skating anymore - it was a complete betrayal of aesthetics. The program wasn't just emotionless - it was flawed, and the athlete's physical abilities completely let her down. Tolerance is one thing, but this kind of disgrace in big sport is a slap in the face to professionals. Take a look at our athletes! Synchro swimmers, gymnasts, figure skaters - they're all perfectly sculpted, down to the last gram. Here, we see a shapeless body (forgive me, body positivity advocates). Our Adelia Petrosyan looks like a goddess on the ice, even without a flag. Ethereal, sharp, flawless. Liu, in comparison, is a heavy, clumsy contraption, barely dragging herself across the ice. Enough with the excuses about methods. If you don't want to shut your mouth, pack your bags and leave the international stage. Either lose weight, or say goodbye. Yes, RP (Restrictive Eating Disorder) is the foundation of big sport. That's the reality. I immediately thought of Lino Ashram in Tokyo. The same heavy, awkward figure against the backdrop of our perfect Averins. It seems the body-positive plague and the cult of "food" have completely blinded the world. Everyone has decided that professionalism isn't measured by form, but by tolerance. In aesthetic sports, the body is a working tool. And a tool should be refined, honed, not shapeless. Sport is first and foremost about overcoming, not indulging your weaknesses. If you want to eat - stay at home. If you want to win - shut your mouth and work. There can be no middle ground here. 🔂Eliseevalive

@USPSHelp @USPS Trying to figure out why it took two packages shipped on 12/5 from North Texas 8 days just to get to the Ft Worth processing center?!?! Are the packages lost? They’ve still got to get to PA and NY. What’s happening?

Brick Breaker How many licks does it take to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop? Three. 😉 How many shots does it take to hit the wall on the other side of the gym? Only one way to find out. Shoot it from where it lands. Great partner activity. #physed

Start off our classes by doing a walk and talk, I love being able to use this time to connect with the students. PLUS I get to see the kids connect more with each other 🤩 #PhysEd

@StubHub these are certainly not the center orchestra ticket I paid for and as awesome as Six was tonight, the bait and switch is trash. I’d appreciate a quick response to this mess up. Thanks!

@MrDsNoraGym1 We don’t do stations anymore. We have three zones with multiple activities in each zone. One grade level at a time in a zone and they choose what they want to do. That choice has dramatically decreased behavior issues and the kids and teachers love it.

#PhysEd Peeps ANOTHER question haha.... What is everyone planning on doing for Field Day this year or thoughts? I really feel like kids don't like to spend 15 minutes at a station doing an Egg Race anymore. Those times have came and passed. What are so new/innovative ideas? #PE

@sydney_killough @Mari19821 @teachbk I am also in Texas. In our district, all of our schools go the same number of minutes a day, elementary just starts earlier and gets out earlier so they can stagger busses to use for all levels.

@Mari19821 @teachbk I live in Texas. Most schools in Texas end at 3:30. They usually dismiss elementary 10 to 20 minutes before junior high and high school because campuses share buses.

I keep seeing tweets comparing elementary to upper level teaching workload. My personal opinion is each has its unique challenges rather than one being harder than the other. Wondering if anyone out there has taught both and can confirm this—? #TeacherTwitter
