Socialism is equality. Everyone gets poor together. Billionaires are fleeing California, Illinois and Washington … moving to Florida. Wealth management companies are following the money, expanding offices in Florida. Florida builds its tax base, California and Seattle and Chicago lose their biggest taxpayers.

CA and WA are solving wealth and income inequality. By driving out billionaires, they are driving down their gini coefficients. So if you live on the West Coast, you should be feeling better now.

@terrakei07 California is endowed with nature so beautiful and resources so rich it was destined to succeed. Everyone wanted to live there. And it’s our door to the Pacific. Naturally, progressives found it and broke everything. It’s embarrassing. They somehow spent $12bil on this train.

Federal charges filed… Gavin Newsom has “spent” $24 billion to end homelessness. Homelessness actually increased by 35,000 people. Where did that $24 billion really go? We’re about to find out!

Exactly one year since Trump started taxing Americans with his illegal tariffs: Americans are paying more for less. Inflation remains high. U.S. manufacturing jobs are falling. Supply chains and partnerships are excluding America.

"Half of the 1800 [Los Angeles] hospices should not be in business," says @DrOzCMS on the arrest of 8 individuals who allegedly schemed to defraud taxpayers out of more than $50 million. "In ten weeks, we have taken out 221 hospices already."

TBPN has been acquired by OpenAI! The show is staying the same and we’ll continue to go live at 11am pacific every weekday. This is a full circle moment for me as I’ve worked with @sama for well over a decade. He funded my first company in 2013. Then helped us fix a serious logjam during a critical funding round a few years later. When I took my second company through YC, he was president at the time, and then when I joined Founders Fund, the first deal I saw in motion was the post-ChatGPT round in late 2022. And as we started growing TBPN last year, he was the very first lab lead to join the show. Thank you to everyone that has been a part of TBPN until now. The last year has been the most fun and rewarding part of my career and we’re excited to have more resources than ever going forward.

Excited to have @Delta bringing @Amazonleo high-speed internet to its fleet (starting with 500 planes in 2028). We'll also be working with them to expand their popular Delta Sync Wi-Fi and seatback experiences—delivering even more personalized connections onboard. Each plane will have an aviation-specific Leo antenna onboard that can do speeds up to 1 Gbps download / 400 Mbps upload. Makes the experience similar to what many folks have at home and work—just 35,000 feet in the air. Gonna change what’s possible while flying. aboutamazon.com/news/amazon-le…

Gavin Newsom just called @elonmusk "one of the great disappointments" of this era. Here's Newsom's record as Governor: - Nation's highest income tax - Nation's highest homeless - Nation's highest state debt - Nation's highest gas prices - Nation's highest out-migration If anyone is a disappointment, it's Gavin.

Gavin is acting like the leaders in California didn't have a heavy hand in driving Elon away.... Gavin Newsom on Elon Musk in new interview: "One of the great disappointments. It breaks my heart. I got one of the first Teslas off the line. I've been one of their biggest proponents. It was regulation that created the conditions that allowed him to take the risk to become the multi-billionaire, or trillionaire, that he's become." In May 2020, then-Assemblywoman Lorena Gonzalez posted, “F*ck Elon Musk,” to which Elon replied, “Message received.” Tesla started building their Giga Texas HQ soon after.
