The UK Office of Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) is reporting an attack on a container vessel in the Persian Gulf, roughly 25NM northwest of Ras Al-Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates. The vessel reportedly sustained damage from a suspected but unknown projectile, with the extent of the damage still not known.

🚨 “I HAVE TRUMP BLOOD!” — AMERICAN AIRLINES PASSENGER COMPLETELY CRASHES OUT MID-FLIGHT — PLANE FORCED TO TURN BACK
A passenger on an American Airlines flight had a meltdown so chaotic the plane had to move to another gate so he could be removed.
Video from inside the cabin shows the man lying flat on his stomach in the aisle while drinking from a plastic cup, yelling at passengers around him.
Then the rant starts going completely off the rails.
At one point he claims doctors recently performed a procedure on him and discovered something shocking.
According to him, they pulled “red, white and blue blood” out of his body.
“I have Trump blood!”
The outburst keeps escalating as he starts yelling about Elon Musk’s rockets, telling passengers to praise Jesus, insulting people nearby, and threatening lawsuits.
Eventually the crew makes an announcement over the intercom:
“We are moving the aircraft to another gate to remove a passenger.”
The plane had to stop so security could board and escort him off.
What actually causes someone to completely crash out like this on a plane full of strangers?

The @theallinpod features Under Secretary of War Emil Michael. Excellent interview across many topics, but especially on the Department of War’s situation with Anthropic.
Emil’s explanation makes it clear Anthropic is operating outside the norm for DoW contracts. The contract they negotiated (previous administration) included terms that made it difficult for the Department to use the system outside Anthropic’s guardrails.
At times it sounds like Dario is effectively acting as Secretary of War— seeking control over allowed uses that could restrict DoW planning and operations. Emil explains, quite logically, why those restrictions are not workable.
The Department now has to consider other frontier providers (Google, xAI, and OpenAI), something he clearly does not want to do since Anthropic is already embedded in existing systems.
He also makes it very clear the decision is not political. It has nothing to do with donations to Trump or any “pay-to-play” dynamic. His reasoning is straightforward: if the outcome were political, why spend months negotiating in good faith to fix a flawed contract with Anthropic?

It was in a room of 20 people, so this is undeniable if Dario wants to deny it, and I was giving these scenarios, these Golden Dome scenarios, and so on, and he's like, ‘Just call me if you need another exception.’” “And I'm like, ‘But what if the balloon's going up at that moment and it's a decisive action we have to take?’ Like, I'm not gonna call you to do something. It's not rational. And that was another ‘holy cow’ moment of, like, how they think about it.”
