@jcaprice1983 @SairanenJan @grok @BarackObama No lol. You just cherry picked practically the only things the US is good at. We are well below average on almost every other measure, including life expectancy, preventable deaths, infant and maternal mortality. Ask AI like you did for your answer but ask how we perform overall.

@Cryptomeme1 @SairanenJan @grok @BarackObama That’s cherry-picked nonsense. The US leads the world in cancer survival rates (breast, prostate, colorectal, etc.)higher than Canada, UK, and most OECD peers because we deliver faster access to cutting-edge diagnostics and treatments. Not waitlists that delay months.

The day the Affordable Care Act passed was one of my proudest moments as president, because it meant that millions of Americans would have access to health care, some for the first time. The ACA also prevented insurance companies from denying people with pre-existing conditions coverage, allowed young people under the age of 26 to remain on their parents’ plan, expanded Medicaid, and so much more. But the ACA was always meant to be a first step. We still have to do more to expand access and make health care more affordable for everyone.

@jcaprice1983 @SairanenJan @grok @BarackObama We don’t have the best healthcare in the world - not even remotely close. By most metrics, the US healthcare system is absolutely dreadful for a developed country, particularly with how much we spend. We rank near the very bottom of all 38 OECD countries.

@SairanenJan @grok @BarackObama At least we don’t die waiting on routine healthcare like universal healthcare countries. We also have the best healthcare in the world.

@Milajoy Assuming the deportation rate and average incarceration time remain steady, it will cost about $80 billion over Trump’s 4 year term. More importantly though, illegal immigrants collectively contribute approximately $97 billion in taxes per year.

@Milajoy The average cost of detaining/housing a single non-citizen for 1 day is $165. If they housed all these people for 1 day, it’d be 412 million, but the average time they are kept until deportation is about 50 days. That’s ~$20 billion per year at the current rate of deportation.

Not nearly enough, but still… In four years it's 10 million. And with 10,000 more ICE agents, it's expected to a LOT more than that. Who voted for this?

We've been being poisoned by foreign illegal pesticides. Doesn't that make sense when you think about it?
Lee Zeldin@epaleezeldin

Working with our partners @DHSgov @CBP, the Trump EPA has now stopped more than 200,000 pounds of illegal pesticides from entering our country through ports this year!    We are accelerating investigations and enforcement on toxic and poisonous imports, including illegal pesticides and chemical smuggling. This will advance agricultural integrity, safeguard our communities, increase national security, and help Make America Healthy Again. Learn more: epa.gov/newsreleases/e…

@PorcPineArmgddn @DemRedistrict @politico Either way, it’s horseshit. Stirring the pot by trying to get more seats in an underhanded way will provoke the same response by the opposing party. Shit like this needs to be more regulated, or at least less effective.

@DemRedistrict @politico You mean like what Gavin Newsom is doing to further gerrymander California?? Blue states are already maxed out on gerrymandering; so much so that it’s hard for them to carve out more seats in most cases. What a fool you are.

Reporting from @politico reveals that the White House is ramping up its pressure campaign to gerrymander red states, going as far as promising “consequences” to Republican lawmakers who don’t fall in line. This is dangerous new territory for our nation. politico.com/news/2025/09/3…

@PorcPineArmgddn @DemRedistrict @politico Use whatever resources you want, google, chatgpt, etc. You will find that due to Republicans controlling more state legislatures during key redistricting years, they have used it far more than democrats. Democrats would’ve done the same thing were they in the same situation.

@PorcPineArmgddn @DemRedistrict @politico Dude, at least do some rudimentary research before posting. While redistricting has historically been a tool for both parties, Republicans have used it much more heavily. Now there is a concerted push to do so, so yes in direct response California is doing it too.

We have 217 of the 218 signatures required. We just need one more Congressman to sign the discharge petition in order to force a vote in the House on a bill to release the Epstein files. Victims deserve justice and Americans demand transparency.

@ReeeeeAllie7 @KatieDR96 @StephenKing This is the low effort, ignorant type of rhetoric that pits one side against the other. There is no significant predisposition for violence in either party. The common denominators are mental illness and lethal weapons.

The motivation of the man who shot Charlie Kirk isn't clear (although he's probably mentally unstable--duh). What is clear is it was another example of American gun violence.

@Geiger_Capital Also, there’s no need to make a mentally ill murderer the poster child of a political group. It’s unproductive and inflammatory. I’m sure there is a small minority who somehow relish in Kirk’s death, but it is just that - a small minority.

@Geiger_Capital It’s a moot point grasping for significance. You have no rights once you’re dead. The thing that allowed this to happen is the second amendment. Mental illness is also responsible but it’s not something that can be well regulated, unlike guns.

@GaryHalpin23 @elbitcoino @MartyBent The common denominators are mental illness and gun ownership. It’s the same reason that besides 1) previous suicide attempts and 2) underlying mental illness, access to a firearm is the highest risk factor for suicide. Political stance ≠ mental illness.

Charlie Kirk is known for engaging in respectful Socratic dialogue with people that vehemently disagree with his political views, which is something that is desperately needed today. The fact that he was attacked during one of these events is an attack on the medium itself and an admission by the radical left that they don't care to engage in dialogue, but prefer to brute force their views on the world. A very sad and frightening day.

@GaryHalpin23 @elbitcoino @MartyBent And not that it’s by a landslide, but if anything, right wing extremists have a higher predilection for mass violence in the US. It’s well established. My guess is it’s literally just a matter of more right-wing people owning guns. That’s it. It has nothing to do with politics.

@GaryHalpin23 @elbitcoino @MartyBent Five people out of half the country did some terrible shit because they have mental health issues. I guess the entire left are murderers. 🤷🏼‍♂️ It’s a rather short-sighted take. I could draw the same comparison to anything. Oh look, a few bad apples. All of them must be rotten.

@Cryptomeme1 @livefreejim @magills_ Any suggestions you types typically want enacted are already in place here in the US. Criminals are the only ones getting guns as easily as you say, and that's why more gun laws won't work. You're not punishing any criminals; You're just punishing the law-abiding citizens.
