@mtracey The key context here is "the last 15 years of his life." It is indisputable that Epstein plotted to damage Trump with the help of Democrat notables. There is a whole email chain with Michael Wolff about how to "take down" Trump.

Epstein was not a "diehard Democrat." Hence his extremely close friendship with Steve Bannon -- and at one time, Trump. See also: Peter Thiel. Was he a "Soft Democrat" by disposition? Sure, maybe. He did mostly donate to Dems. But not a "diehard" partisan in any real respect
Curve Dweller@unethicalaccel

@mtracey The trouble is for the last 15 years of his life he was a diehard Democrat seeking to destroy Trump in any way he could.

@SuperWokeNews2 @C_3C_3 It makes perfect sense that she "can't remember that Reid Hoffman bankrolled her lawsuit. After all, she couldn't remember when the alleged assault even happened...couldn't remember the day, or the month, or the season, or the year.

Litigation is expensive. This kind of litigation is expensive. I actually spoke with E. Jean Carroll‘s attorneys about representation back before Carroll’s case went to trial. It was clear in two seconds who was funding them and what their political agenda was. It was also clear that they were not concerned about advocacy for women. They were concerned about an agenda against President Trump. I don’t find it believable that Ms Carroll forgot who was funding her law suit. It was really clear from speaking to her attorneys that they were funded by Woke Progressive Liberal Democrats with an agenda against Trump. With all due respect to Ms. Caroll - it’s not possible to trust her credibility when she prevaricates about such obvious matters. Lawsuits like E. Jean Carroll’s make it incredibly difficult for genuine victims. She’s done more damage to victims than anything - or everything - that Donald Trump has ever done.

Whoops! The moment it’s clear E Jean Carroll lied during her deposition in her scam against President Trump. She just “totally forgot” Reid Hoffman was the one funding the operation. They all need to pay.

@ForecasterEnten So you're saying that people who didn't bother to vote in a national election will come out to vote in a mid-term?

Voters who didn't cast a ballot in 2024 are pissed off, & it could reshape the midterms. Trump's net approval with them is down 54 pt since Nov 2024 to -50 pt now! A lot (48%) of these non-2024 voters say they're at least very likely to vote in 2026 & they favor Dems by 31 pt.

“Is the message here for Republicans that if you dissent from the President, he is going to take you down?” @margbrennan asked Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA) after Louisiana Sen. Bill Cassidy’s defeat in his Republican primary. “Well, it is one of the many reasons, Margaret, why we need to open primaries up in all 50 states,” Fitzpatrick said. “Closed primaries, coupled with gerrymandering, your previous question, are really, really hurting our country. They're causing gridlock on the House floor.”

@ggreenwald The difference is that Biden (Democrats) was censoring and deplatforming people FOR TELLING THE FACTUAL TRUTH. Trump is using his power to pressure corporations to censor or fire people WHO ARE FACTUALLY LYING (Russia Collusion, Epstein, etc) and celebrating assassinations.

The White House demanding that a network fire one of its hosts, while taking regulatory action against ABC's corporate parent to pressure, threaten and force them to do so, is an obvious attack on the First Amendment. It's at least as bad as what the Twitter Files showed: the Biden Adm pressuring and threatening social media platforms to ban dissent:

I know a lot of Trump supporters. I mean a lot. Not one of them wishes they had voted for Kamala instead. Not one. If anything, President Trump has exceeded our expectations of what was possible when we voted for him. Anyone who tells you that Trump's base is abandoning him is lying to you.

Trump complains that Iran doesn't "know how to sign a nonnuclear deal". I thought that Trump was worried about a NUCLEAR deal. Why does US care about a NON-NUCLEAR deal? 0ther than orders from Miriam Adelson and Netanyahu.
Joe Kent@joekent16jan19

Continuing the blockade puts far more pressure on us than on Iran. Iran has proven it can endure economic pain—it has been doing so since 1979. The blockade will not force Iran to abandon uranium enrichment, ballistic missiles, or its proxy networks. Instead, the blockade is hurting the American people and creating serious domestic pressure on POTUS: Gas prices will continue to rise as we head into the midterms, harming the working class voters who overwhelmingly backed Trump and Republicans—putting GOP majorities in serious jeopardy. Staging three carrier battle groups plus a massive build up of airpower in CENTCOM to enforce the blockade is unsustainable—it hands an emboldened IRGC ample opportunities to strike U.S. forces and drag America back into war on Iran’s terms. The global fallout only increases the pressure on us, not Iran: Beyond the oil and gas crisis, the blockade is now triggering a global fertilizer shortage that will cause major food security crises and potential famines in vulnerable regions. The smarter path is clear: withdraw, declare victory, and use sanctions relief as our negotiating leverage with Iran. This resets the talks on our terms, avoids war, and prevents further escalation of the energy crisis at home and abroad.

“The thing that worries me,” says The Daily Wire’s Tim Rice, “is that otherwise average Democratic voters are just, for some reason, being more and more drawn to political violence… I don’t think it’s as simple as turning down the rhetoric from Washington... There is something going on in the body politic where… people look to violence as a solution.” @timerice1 @MarkHalperin @2waytvapp

There is something deeply unsettling about how quickly an alleged assassination attempt involving President Donald Trump can fade into the background. Not long ago, such an event would have frozen the nation in place. Now it barely interrupts the scroll. The figure of Cole Allen, as described, does not resemble the classic political fanatic or even the deranged loner in the mold of John Hinckley Jr.. Instead, he appears as something newer and arguably more troubling, a product of endless feeds, recycled outrage and emotional detachment. His words lack conviction or ideology, reading more like stitched together fragments of online sentiment. This is where the danger shifts. Violence no longer seeks to persuade or even explain itself. It performs. It mimics. It exists as content. And perhaps most disturbing, the public reacts accordingly, with a glance, a shrug and then on to the next thing.

@jeremyscahill How is it fabricated? Iran already funds and arms Hamas and Hezbollah. They have stated they want to wipe Israel from the map. They have admitted to wanting nuclear weapons. There is no justifiable reason for 60% enriched uranium except nuclear weapons. So Trump is wrong how?

Trump’s fabricated description of a theoretically nuclear armed Iran threatening and menacing the Middle East would be a remarkably accurate description if he was describing Israel.

🚨 WOW! President Trump just called Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries TRAITORS on LIVE TV for attempting to UNDERMINE his negotiations with Iran "We can't let TRAITORS like Schumer put pressure on you where they say 'we want out!' Think how bad that is! I'm negotiating with these people, and they're telling us we have to get out NOW." "I want to I want to make a good deal. I'm not going to be rushed." "I don't want to be rushed by people that are really TREASONOUS as far as I'm concerned." "I watch this low IQ guy, Hakeem Jeffries... he's always ranting and raving. 'Oh, this war is so terrible!' They shouldn't be saying that when we're in the midst of a negotiation, because it does HURT us somewhat. It gives the other side some HOPE, and I don't want them to have hope!"
