@rstreets01 @SawyerMerritt @Tesla I have the new 3. It is def not ground up. It’s a mild refresh. Just styling and suspension improvements for the most part. Far from a rebuild but some good improvements.
English

@DannyDGoBlue @SawyerMerritt @Tesla What the fuck are you talking about? The refreshed model 3 and the refreshed model Y are ground up rebuilds. Less than 10% of the parts are interchangeable. Could you possibly be more clueless? Holy shit.😳

Jason Cammisa on part of the reason why @Tesla is discontinuing the Model S/X (in his interpretation):
"The cost to reengineer the Model S to continue to comply with all safety and crash regulations would be greater than to start over, and I think that's a dying segment, the luxury car segment. You can look at the volumes of the Model 3/Y, and you see you're better off spending the money on developing those."

Elon Musk says AI5 won't go into cars soon because AI4 will achieve Unsupervised FSD:
"At som point it will make sense to switch to AI5 in the car, but there's not a pressing issue to do so. But at some point AI4 will get so old. We are planning an AI4 upgrade to use neuro generation ram. It will go from 16gb to 32gb. Probably a 10% increase in compute. That will probably go into production in the middle of 2027."

@dwarkesh_sp Anthropic uses mostly NVIDIA clusters. Nvidia has 90% market share for a reason

I asked Jensen: “2 out of the top 3 models in the world, Claude and Gemini, were trained on TPU. What does that mean for Nvidia going forward?”
After a long technical back and forth about what the right accelerator for AI looks like (see full episode), Jensen lays down the gauntlet:
Jensen: "Nvidia's computing stack is the best performance per TCO in the world, bar none. Dylan's InferenceMax is sitting out there for everybody to use, and TPU won't come, Trainium won't come. Nobody wants to show up."
“I'm not offended by other people using something else and trying things. If they don't try these other things, how would they know how good ours is?”
“There are always big claims, but look at the number of ASICs that have been canceled. Just because you're going to build an ASIC, you still have to build something better than Nvidia. It's not that easy building something better than Nvidia. Nvidia's got to be missing something seriously, because of our scale and our velocity.”

🚨 Tesla's 2026 Spring Update is coming soon.
Expect FSD v14 refinements (including V14 Lite for HW3), smoother navigation with real-time data, deeper Grok integration, possible Apple CarPlay, and lots of UI/polish tweaks.
Most wanted: CarPlay, better FSD, ridesharing prep & enhanced maps.
What are you hoping for most? 👀

This is big... Anthropic just announced a model so powerful they won't release it to the public out of fear over the damage it will cause 😨
Claude Mythos Preview found thousands of zero-day exploits in every major operating system and web browser...
The numbers are hard to believe:
> $50 to find a 27-year-old bug in OpenBSD, one of the most security-hardened operating systems ever built
> Under $1,000 to find AND build a fully working remote code execution exploit on FreeBSD that grants unauthenticated root access from anywhere on the internet
> Under $2,000 to chain together multiple Linux kernel vulnerabilities into a complete privilege escalation exploit
For context: these are the kinds of findings that previously required elite security researchers working for weeks.
Anthropic engineers with no formal security training asked Mythos to find exploits overnight. They woke up to working code the next morning.
The results were so impressive Anthropic assembled Apple, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, NVIDIA, and seven other organizations into Project Glasswing:
A $100M defensive coalition. They're not releasing this model publicly. Instead, they're racing to patch the world's infrastructure before models like this proliferate.

@ggcollignon @DudeWhoInvests @thunderf00t You do realize there are many growth companies where that is totally not true…right?

@DudeWhoInvests @thunderf00t Nvidia valuation: $4.3T
Nvidia revenue: $200bn
We do understand companies are valued on their discounted future cash flows, not their trailing revenues… right?
